We stopped here today , went to the counter to order , told to take a seat and they would take our order (3 staff on the floor)after 10+ mins had passed and nobody bothered with us we left , the cafe was not packed large group of cyclist(10 at the most) seated outside the rest of the place practically empty , cakes looked nice as did the scones . Its is location is in a really nice place , unfortunately we won't be returning , plenty of other places to stop for coffee and cakes or icecream around this area. Sorry

Not so good today, too hot to eat outside and staff member didn't know if dogs were allowed inside, so we didn't stop, as they didn't have any shaded areas. Had a nice lunch at the Three Horseshoes in Wensley instead. ☹️

We happened across this cafe on our travels and stopped to have a sandwich and cup of tea.We were lucky that it was a glorious day so sat outside anf basked for a while. The ham and mustard roll came with kettle chips, salad and homemade potato salad & coleslaw both of which were delicious.

On a motorcycle tour of the North I found myself needing some sustenance. I'm so glad I dropped in. A very tasty strong cappuccino and probably one of the tastiest, satisfying cooked breakfasts I've ever had! Served by a lovely lady who apologised whilst fumbling with the till as it was her first day. Her friendly manner and good service initially made me think she was the owner! Will definitely return the next time I'm up this way.

Looked great, very well set up, strolled up to counter, where four ladies were relaxed, idly chatting, to ask if breakfast was finished (many cafés serve what you want at any time they're open). Response, 'it's finished'... We'd had a long drive and missed early morning as wanted quality, not McDonalds. Advised at 11:45am that they weren't taking orders anyway until 12:00 noon, lunch menu only. Asked if they had anything breakfast-ish available such as tea, bacon or egg sandwich as per the board, and a young girl answered 'yes' but an older lady sharply corrected her, saying 'ovens were off'. Used the loos and went elsewhere; if I ran a food sales would cook (if unoccupied and able) to suit customer, sadly, not here...

Delicious ice cream. The farmhouse has a variety of vegetables, baked goods including sourdough and pumpernickel bread. There a tweed scarves and cute little ornaments which makes great gifts. The variety of coffee was surprising as well.Lovely place with friendly staff.

Great café, excellent cake and really friendly staff..farm shop is nice too

Staff are amazing. Dog friendly. Breakfast until 11am. If you have a dog you go up in the little conservatory section. Really lovely. Super friendly. Sausages amazeballs!!

Arrived just after 10am, half hour after opening. Hot drinks fine but they had no fruit teacakes or white bread (not delivered) and the scones we're not yet out of the oven. As for the farm shop, it's what I would call a shop on a farm and very expensive. £2.95 for a cauliflower that's less than a pound in a supermarket!

Expensive but very good quality. Would be nice to get 2 sausages and perhaps a hash brown with breakfast.Given the location is so beautiful and remote it is a very nice breakfast in a lovely environment.Staff were really young and really friendly and helpful. A great addition to the farm.Plenty of parking on site.
