Fish and Chips at 149 in Richmondshire

Chips were lovely so we curry sauce in my chip butty. Heaven.

On holiday and really fancied fish and chips so ordered large fish n small chips and jumbo sausage and small beans. Food arrived as we ordered delivery the fish was by no means large and small chips were about 30 chips hard and uneatable For £20.00 I was expecting more would definitely not recommend this place plus as we paid twice for delivery thought it was unbelievable when he got a txt asking if we would like. To pay the driver a tip total rubbish the driver also had a child strapped in his car doing delivery 😡

Amazing food and service, when my Uber eats delivery man forgot my drinks I rang the store and the manager straight away offered to bring them to me. I received my drinks and the manager refused to accept my tip although I insisted. Such incredible people. Wish they had taken the tip!

We got 5 meals on new years eve and I have to say it was the worst food we have ever had from a takeaway. The chips were hard and dry,spam fritters were over cooked and burnt ,the batter on the burgers was like trying to cut through concrete and the curry sauce was as if it hadn't been mixed properly, it tasted of powder. Never will we use them.again.

Have used this place a few times in the past and been happy but today was very poor. Fish was ok but chips were overcooked and hard. Will not be going back.

Great tasting Cod, lovely batter and chips were lovely too. They also do gluten free which is good for those coeliacs out there.

First time iv been disappointed by the chips, under the old management food was cooked to order during quite periods of the day. The chips today tasted like they had been in the warmer for about 1 hour, tough, dry and flavourless. The only reason it's not a 1 star is the fish bites were quite tasty.

Well set up in respect of Covid regulations. Online ordering and payment which makes it easier, just collect. Really good Fish and Chips and gluten free fab too. Friendly staff team. Good customer service 👍
