Really fantastic pub. Our party of 6 had a great meal and some local real ale. The kitchen went out of their way to cater for a dairy free diet. Plenty of vegetarian options and everyone said they enjoyed it.

Local pub nothing special food average . Steak pie definitely not the best in area

Lovely pub we found at the end of our walk from Asgarth falls to Castle Bolton. The staff were super friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate us at lunch time as we arrived just before food service finished. The food itself was delicious, great quality and a really good price as were the beers!The new owner was a really nice guy, really personable and really valued people's opinions. It was exactly what we needed after a good long walk and we can't rate highly enough.We will be back again! Thank you

Really lovely local village pub. Does all the basics really well, good beer and nice hearty food. The staff are exceptional, really friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth popping in if you are in West Witton and fancy a pint.

Lovely new owners made us tea and poured beers even though closed as we were hill walkers. Lots of outdoor space. Will be back to try their pub grub.

Excellent local village pub! We've called in here several times while staying in the area. Great lunch spot after hiking Pen Hill or for evening pints and a burger. Ample space in the beer garden or a smaller covered area for outside dining.
