Fox Hall Inn in Richmondshire

We stayed at the Inn for my husbands birthday had a lovely meal in the evening together with our Border Terrier, left the next day after a good breakfast.We look forward to going back soon.

Stopped here on a Sunday on the way home and was blown away with the Sunday roast! We got the half chicken roast and it was absolutely perfect, crispy skin, tender meat and the veggies were amazing too.All of it was perfect and it's so cheap for the quality that you get, most of the roast meals are roughly £15, if I didn't live 3 hours away I'd be here every weekend.Best roast I've had in a restaurant!

We have a holiday home in Cumbria and we live in Hornsea, we go here 3 or 4 times a year on our way to Cumbria, never let's us down food wise, staff or service is always first class.

Nice place for lunch. Most of us has a burger and we all agreed they were very, very good. Burger was well seasoned, cooked well with good cheese etc. Well worth a visit.

If you in the area, this hotel is the one to chose! They offer great rooms for a price and their restaurant offers amazing food for fair price.If you a pet owner, they are truly going beyond yo ensure your pet will have a best stay! They have a great field for dogs to run on, they always spoil your dog at the restaurant (if you agree) and they provide a dog bedding & bowl in room.Simply no brainer for pet owner and someone appreciating great value for money.

Very nice meal on a Sunday while traveling South from Scotland. Booked online while in the car with notice that we had a dog with us.Offered the dog biscuits and water while we ate, very nice place and dog friendly on the base area to boot.Food was excellent with friendly service.

We booked in August for dinner and wanted to say thank you! Such a lovely meal and perfect service. Friendly staff, delicious food (best fish and chips ever!) and homely atmosphere. Exceptional and will visit again as soon as possible!

It is rare for me to leave a review, but when service and quality are exceptional then it should be acknowledged.I had the fresh trout and my wife the fishcake. Both were cooked perfectly. An unexpected surprise from a "roadside restaurant" on the A66. Desserts were also too good to miss. Absolutely superb.This was the best food we've had in a long time AND the service was truly excellentVery clean, social distancing maintained, plenty of car parking and very convenient for a journey to/from the north/Scotland.Superb. 5*. From the moment we stepped into this establishment you could sense an awareness of wanting to please. Our room is perfect in every respect. The dining experience excellent in every respect, courteous staff and some of the finest food you could wish for. Rest assured you will not be disappointed.

Stayed here on the way down south for a holiday. Great parking and upon entering the building the staff were very friendly. Both rooms were tastefully decorated and spotless. Evening meal was absolutely great and delicious as was breakfast that was served up. We were able to take our dog down with us in the dog friendly bar area. Would definitely stay here again.
