Emailed the day before to see if thayvwere open the following day, had no reply at all.Went on the off chance but were closed.Lucky I was going somewhere else so it wasn't a wasted journey.Can't comment on food etc.

Only apartments these days plus a coffee shop, but not Wed. or Fri.!!Apartments very clean and everything you may need for a break.Welcoming host Paul will show you around. Thwaite village has nothing else to offer, no pub, no restaurant, but if you like walking in quiet countryside, or for the more adventurous there are fells which need climbing.If The Weather Gods are with you, you will not be disappointed at Keartons

Stopped here for a drink on my route from Keld to Hawes. Friendly service and quite busy

Friendly atmosphere, the landlords was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Beer was well kept. Cream scones and cheese scones where really nice, and served very fresh and hygienically.

Its in a beautiful location in The fabulous Yorkshire Dales it also has a really nice tearooms we had a cream tea when we visited yesterday it was really goody

Always call into the kearton when we are exploring the dale, a lovely coffee and a homemade biscuit. Lovely welcome everyone.

Have been coming here for a few years now and enjoy it every time. Lovely staff and lovely food. Homemade ginger biscuits served with your coffee which is a lovely touch too! Beautiful scenery to look at, perfect way to relax!

Not entirely sure why they serve food in a takeaway brown bag with plastic cutlery? Location is lovely and be nice on a sunny day will be back.

Called in for scones and coffee on way to muker and reeth covid restrictions applied but very well organised very good scones and helpful service. Will plan to return on next visit.

Been here a few times on motorbikes for our lunch and we have always had a very slow service, like they don't really appreciate our business. Last time we turned up on a Sunday at 1.15pm they said they had run out of food and could only serve us some scones, not even a sandwich. They lost out on 14 meals as we had to go elsewhere.It's not like we.are a bunch of teenagers were respectful 50-70 yr olds on average.
