La Piazza 2 in Richmondshire

I have been using this restaurant for years, of recent I have witnessed a general decline. Two nights ago I took a party of six in to eat, we waited 10minutes to get a table that I had booked in advance. Once at the table we waited 15 minutes to order drinks, 50 minutes (after ordering) to get served, we received one incorrect order and the food was OK. For the rest of the meal not once did we get asked if we wanted more drinks. I will not be going to this restaurant again, I am really disappointed, I feel they have got too big and forgotten some of the values I used to admire, a real shame!!!!!

Fantastic Italian food. We had mushrooms, tempura prawns, cannaloni, spicy beef tagliatelle, tiramisu, and cheesecake and a nice rose wine. Yummy! We shall return. Rare to find somewhere so good these days.Many thanks for making the last day of our holiday so enjoyable.We didn't take photos as we were so keen to eat!

The food was just amazing and filling. The staff wete really good and always helpful even though they were really busy. Lovely atmosphere. Definitely go again in the future.

Wonderful restaurant with very professional staff looking after your every need. Great food and not too expensive. Very popular, understandably.

Recent vist on a trip to Richmond. We called in on a very busy saturday night without booking, they immediately seated us , staff very efficient considering how busy it was. Menu is huge and surprisingly very well priced.Food came out swiftly and was very very tasty. If we are ever in Richmond again , we will definitely visit again .Highly recommend 👌

Great authentic Italian food and good value, no need to book either which is great too! Friendly staff and free parking if you can find a space!

This is my first 4⭐ review! And it has to be split 50/50 between the chef and the service! 5⭐ goes to the chef and main cook for the really tasty meals, however a 3⭐ goes to the service... Booked a table for two over the phone. The seat was mucked up with a some green object like a piece of rocket/arugula, table was sticky and there was no napkins provided either. Had to ask for the napkins twice, and they eventually arrived! The cutlery was flying from the service jiggling loudly in the cupboard or on the floor! It wouldn't be fair to give just a 3⭐ I hope this review brings the management attention just to change a few bits and a full 5⭐ experience can be given!

Been staying in Richmond for a few days and thought we would try here for a treat. An absolutely amazing place. Everything was brilliant from the food to the service. The staff very welcoming and friendly especially Chico (sorry if I have spelt this wrong) was great. Will defo be back here on next visit to Richmond
