Little Chef in Richmondshire

Myself and my wife stayed a nearby cottage and decided to give the chef Hong Kong a try wow what a good decision it was I had house special curry and chips the mrs had lemon chicken and fried rice both meals delicious would definitely recommend

The food overall is very good ,but ,it can depend on which chef is cooking sometimes and the curry sauce is really quite thin.i prefer a thicker curry sauce .all vegetables very fresh though ....

The food was lovely but the portion sizes small. Smallest Chinese I've ever had to be honest which is a shame as the flavours where great. Definitely felt like they where being stingy on portions.

Not quite as good flavours as lees in shildon or fat kee in stockton but better than the one in market place for sure 👌Nice chips

We stay at the caravan club site a couple times a year and this was the first time using chef Hong Kong and we're so glad we did.The food was full of flavour, great portion sizes and quick service. It's not the cheapest Chinese take away around but you get what you pay for and we will definitely be going back here time and time again.We both had the same. Crispy chili beef, one with chips, the other with egg fried rice and prawn toastCouldn't fault a thing. Very impressed :)

Ordered food last night. They missed one of the main courses. We live 20 mins away so really frustrating. Rest of the food got cold whilst I drove to pick up again. No real apology. Good customer service would have been the owner coming out the kitchen to apologise and maybe even returning the money for that one dish as compensation for the inconvenience. I won’t go here again

Had about 6 pieces of salt and pepper chicken for £7.20. I called the takeaway after getting home and realising it was such a small portion to be told "we were running low on chicken, so have taken some out". This place is a joke. Surely complete the orders you have to a high standard and then say to customers after that we are out of chicken. Dont ration the chicken to customers paying full price. Also the chips are frozen and not like a proper chippy.

We paid £24 pound for child size noodles, rice, chicken and beef with two sauces!This included 5 pieces of chicken for £5.60, that's £1.12 for one small piece of chicken😂Just to make things a bit worse when we got home we realized they had forgotten to give us our noodles to go with the chicken and beef, when we called they blamed it on the computer.Won't be coming back, absolutely ridiculous.
