Totally immense, worth more than 5 stars. Had the afternoon tea and worth every penny, had to take some away as only managed half on an empty stomach, so a lovely post holiday treat. They were also able to do an incredible gluten free afternoon tea version for my coeliac partner, the first proper afternoon tea they've ever had (I would recommend calling ahead if you require a gluten free version though, we were lucky). Thank you so so much, can't wait to stop by another time.

We visited after a walk around the falls. We had a wonderful lunch, afternoon tea is a treat. Lovely friendly place. Thank you.

We pulled in for a lunch break in the 21st March. What a find. There were 4 adults, a child plus a dog in our party and they accommodated us all. The staff were super friendly and the food was excellent and plenty. Even just for a cuppa this would have been a fab experience.

Having been on a 6k walk, it was great to sit down for a nice pot of tea and cakes.Tea was in a huge teapot so plenty for both of us, the cake was extremely delicious.Dog friendly, they curled up under the table for a well earnt sleep

We called in the Mill Race Teashop on the 28th of October after reading the Google reviews. We were on a morning walk from Aysgarth Lodge to the beautiful Aysgarth falls. The teashop was lovely inside and outside. We ordered afternoon teas to take out for three. We did not know that you were supposed to give 24 hours notice ,luckily they were able to do the teas up for us. While we waited we had drinks and cake that were lovely. The inside of the tearoom was done out really nice which added to the enjoyment. The service we received was excellent

Best afternoon tea I’ve ever had! Absolutely delicious food with very generous portions and a great price! Lovely setting and really friendly staff. Can’t believe I’ve never been before…will definitely return!

Popped in here for tea, coffee and cake - lovely family run shop with a wide selection of exciting cakes and brownies (we couldn't decide so ended up choosing two each: kinder brownie, bakewell blondie, mint brownie and caramac blondie - our favs were the kinder and mint brownies). I had the Rose tea which was delicious. Would definitely recommend and return!

Would give it 6/5 stars if I could. Lovely teashop, friendly staff, generous portions, delicious food, good choice and value for money. My husband ordered a sausage roll, which arrived with a little side salad. He said it was the best side salad he had ever had, in part due to the dressing, which was homemade. We ended up buying a bottle of it to take home! The icecream was also delicious; the two scoop being about the size of your head. Tempted to make another trip to enjoy this place again before we leave!
