New Treasure Garden in Richmondshire

Ordered S&S Chicken and the chicken tasted burnt, plus the Singapore Vermicelli wasn't very spicy. Also ordered a portion of curry which was very watered down and the chips very well done. Have eaten from here previously and it was lovely but tonight it was very poor... And it wasn't even a busy night (Thursday).

Excellent value for money. Well presented tasty food served by helpful and charming staff. Could only get a table for 5.30 which was a testament to how popular the restaurant is.

£37 wasted, seriously need to up their game….Only put 1 star due to having to otherwise 0/5 we experienced a take away order from here due to our usual Chinese being shut and fancying one.Where to i start? Pure disaster and disappointment!!- Curry sauce was like jelly and had lumps in it…-Kung pou beef had prawns in it, sauce was fishy and spicy, absolutely disgusting…- Cantonese style chicken, cold chicken and let’s just say I’m lucky I have any teeth left it was that hard….- salt and paper chicken, I have experienced some spicy salt and paper chicken but Jesus Christ it’s just pure chillies cut up and put with it and no salt in sight also rock hard, could put someone’s windows in with it….- lemon chicken, chicken wasn’t too bad but the sauce that came with it smelt, looked and tasted like the hand wash you get with ribs…- house special chow main, actually okay, not too bad, best thing about the order!

Limited places to eat here so we decided to order a takeaway. We got a 10% discount from their restaurant prices. The food was cooked in about 15 minutes. The food was hot and fresh, and delicious! Plenty to share between us. Also received a bag of prawn crackers to go with our food! Really enjoyed the meal! The restaurant is centrally located with parking outside.

Has lots of great vegetarian options which is sometimes hard to come by for Chinese restaurants! Quick service, very pleased with the tasty food and big portions. Restaurant was clean and had comfortable seating. Only shame was how loud it got, we were sat next to a big party of people spread across two tables who kept shouting to one another, so couldn't have much conversation with my partner at the table. Other than this everything was great and would visit again (hopefully on a bit of a quieter day!)

An absolute must to enjoy excellent Chinese food, with customer care second to none. Extensive menu. We received home made cookies as a Thankyou from the lovely lady owner and a complimentary palate cleanser of beautiful fruit.Definitely an absolute must . Excellent meal. Very polite and efficient staff. A very pleasant experience all round.

Smaller than I was expecting however that doesn't take away from its charm. They were busy but didn't wait long for table or food. Food was amazing won ton soup. Ohh my goodness amazing. Great staff place glistening clean. Relaxed night in an intimate little place lovely friendly atmosphere. Staff helpful and attentive. Great place for anniversary dinner. Definitely would go again.
