Lovely friendly service and a big menu for a small cafe Good selection of cakes and drinks. Eat inside, outside or takeaway.

Excellent coffee and lunch stop, good selection and quality. Very friendly, helpful staff. A real asset to Reeth.

Sad I wasn't here around dinnertime as the menu looks delicious! Cakes are all homemade and taste fantastic. They also offer a great selection of drinks including milkshakes and specially flavoured lattes. Staff seem lovely. Don't miss out!

We arrived at the Overton House cafe absolutely freezing cold after an horrendous descent from Tan Hill after the race there to be made absolutely so welcome, despite sitting over the heater shivering and shivering. I was even invited to put a pin in Mexico. Thank you so much for being there and tolerating us. So kind with perfect coffee. Will be back. Thank you thank you.

Very friendly with *amazing* Fiery Ginger Cake (plenty of black pepper to give the kick!), and all very reasonably priced as well. Definitely worth a visit if you're around!

Delicious coffee!! Thank you - lovely staff too who have to keep up with a fast pace of customers in a small space within the café.Only criticisms (quite hard to find!) is the £0.40 add on for plant based milk. That cannot really be explained in my opinion. Also there are not enough seats outside so be prepared so sit on the main lawn in the square.

WOW what a great cafe, such a friendly family running it. We were 5 cyclists (very hungry) who had delicious toasties followed by coffee and cake. Service was really quick and I told the lady who owned it with her husband that the dark chocolate tiffin was fantastic. She asked me if I wanted the recipe and disappeared inside, thinking she had forgotten we were just leaving when she ran out the cafe to give me the recipe. Now that is service. DO VISIT, a great cafe in beautiful Reeth.

Overton House Cafe is the stand out best café in the Yorkshire Dales. I've been coming here for a couple of years and each time reminded why I come back. A friendly, family run business that serves local produce. It's menu is well thought out and prepared fresh daily. Sandwiches and soup of the day are always a favourite. I've cycled here a couple of times and they have happily offered to refill water bottles.Dog friendly and homely, a must see stop on your way through Reeth - you won't be disappointed.
