Pen ponds cafe in Richmondshire

A big Thankyou to Penley's for providing the amazing food for my daughter's baby shower. Nothing was to much trouble everybody was catered for and the service was perfect.

Excellent cappuccino and friendly efficient service

Love the chicken wrap, it was delicious. Besides that customer service was awsome. We have ordered one extra dish by mistake, even then dish was prepared, we asked for cancellation and staff just did it happily and refunded the full amount. That kind of customer service is rare. Highly recommended.

Lovely place to have lunch and watch the world go by. Laid back cafe with plenty of seating on both floors. Dog friendly! You order at the till and they bring you your food. Quick and friendly service and in a central location!

Furst time in this little gem. We had....Best poached eggs ever!!!Lovely bacon bun.Excellent value for money.Very friendly and helpful staff.Deffinitely return.Thank you.

Super service. Wonderful selection on the menu. I had mushroom avocado cheese wrap; what genius thought up that combination! It was extremely tasty.

Milkshakes were great. Whipped cream and marshmallows? Yes please!

I ate here last week on a business trip, the staff were very friendly, good food, and knowledge of allergies was great! As someone who is gluten free, I felt safe eating here :)

Good food but took a while to bring to our table. Whilst waiting ordered a second coffee. Food arrived withiout cutlery and waitress said she would being it. She then started to take further orders and clearly forgot us. I had to ask for it and was on the verge of cancelling the 2nd coffee when it arrived as we were finishing our food. Good food but service needs improvement. In fairness they were busy so clearly needs more staff at busy periods.

One of the waitresses was lovely. As was the food, the brunette waitress in glasses clearly thought it was too much effort to properly check ingredients for my daughter who has 2 food allergies. I had to remind her it is a legal requirement to have allergen information readily available for the top 8 most common allergens. She did go back and check with a huff and an eye roll. Not impressed
