Restaurant at White Rose Hotel in Richmondshire

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Without doubt this is one of the best bars to visit if you're travelling around the Yorkshire Dales National Park. I can't speak for the accommodation, although the pictures look promising, however, the bar and restaurant offer food and great, genuine hospitality to a truly high standard. I visit this area a lot so feel valid recommending this place way above the rest. Drop in and see for yourself. The food is truly amazing. Well done the family team at the White Rose.

Lovely friendly pub/hotel . Huge clean room . Bed very comfortable ( double for a single person ) . All food very good and reasonably priced .......breakfast sets you up for a days walking . Decor needs updating .......but who cares if staff and owner are cheerful and helpful and food and beer are good 👍 😁

Really enjoyed our stay here. Very reasonably priced. The breakfast is one of the best I've ever had. To top it off it was very reasonably priced. Sue the owner was lovely. Highly recommended.

A genuine greeting...not contrived. Would have like the room to be warmer but considering our booking was last minute and outside temperatures very cold, it was perfectly acceptable. Meals were good with exception to the pastry of a steak pie which was barely cooked. There was a very pleasant atmosphere in the bar as we enjoyed afterdinner drinks. Breakfasts were also good. A friendly local would be my definition of this establishment.

Very friendly family run hotel, bit dated, but so what, lovely food and reasonably priced bar. Would definately return.

Lovely little place, we came in for a drink downstairs in the pub and then had a fantastic meal. My partner had the special which was roast pheasant wrapped in bacon, I had the steak and ale pie and both were amazing. Definitely reccomend if you're looking for somewhere to eat!

Fantastic staff and food large clean rooms nothing to much trouble. Choose bb & evening meal option. Great money saving option. Very doggy friendly.

A very nice family run hotel. Set in a quiet village. On site parking, which is free of charge. Very good food, and a good selection of wine and alcohol. Owners and staff were exceptional. Looking forward to a return visit.

The staff were very welcoming and always found us a table. The food was good and reasonably priced. It seemed popular with locals as well as visitors. The rhubarb pannacotta was particularly good. They seemed to be very short of staff, but were always friendly and helpful. Tables were reasonably well-spaced and the place was well ventilated, but other covid precautions were left to individuals.

Stayed for 4 nights. Great room, very friendly and helpful staff and fantastic location. Restaurant and bar provided everything we expected. Used a lot by locals which is always a good sign.
