An excellent place to stay for the North part of the Yorkshire Dales in a lovely village.Good room and breakfast

Had the dogs with us and the dog-friendly room is huge. Also... Fluffy towels smelt lovely; room and shower room immaculate; good bed with nice linen and pillows; quiet; great breakfast; friendly and efficient owners. What’s not to like? Can highly recommend this cracking little B&B.

A gem of a place on a cold,windy day after a hill walk. A pleasant lady served us the BEST cup of tea. Made with real leaf tea & piping hot. Thank you.

Friendly staff. Cheap hot drinks, nice cake and connecting door to small local store and newsagent.

Fabulous 2 night stay. Most attentive nice couple that run this little gem. Food was hot, tasty and delivered with a smile. Information generously given regarding the community highlights including the local pubs and food. Wished we stayed longer rather than moving on to Simonstone Hall. Lesson learnt and will surely return

Had a very nice cup of tea and cake after a pleasant walk to the water fall at Mill Gill. Brought some provisions and was served by the very pleasant hanna

We stayed a few years ago and really enjoyed it. Sykes house offers great facilities and a brilliant breakfast. The area is fantastic and overall this B&B is GREAT!
