Tandoori Night in Richmondshire

Overcharged beware!!!Not bad food , but unfortunately this restaurant is unable to display the current menu price and tries to con you at the end of your meal. Very dishonest. Please avoid unless you enjoy a debate at the end of a night out! Also no mention before the meal that cash is the only payment option!Avoid!!!!!

Slow service and mediocre curry, friendly staff though but also cash only which in this day and age is odd.

Bland food, does not take card payments and there was no mention of this until we had to pay the bill. Had to run around the town to find a cash point. Paid the bill and later that evening realised we had been over charged by quite a lot. Basically borderline theft. Check your bill. I do not recommend.

Food was ok, the staff and the pricing was terrible, no card payments and the staff was not able to split the bill (simple task for anyone) then when we did it they had added £50 to the overall bill, when broken down over 10 people it was hard to see until we did the working out. Totally shocking, rude and borderline theft. Two stars as the food was ok. Watch the price and check the bill.

Not that keen on the food it was all a bit bland. 1st time using, unfortunately won't be back. Only nice thing was Peshwari Nan, but that was in a plastic bag rather than paper so had sweated a bit by time we got home. Shame really as had gone on friends recomendation.

Really terrible food and service.The kebab was meant to be mixed chicken tikka and donner but the chicken had no flavour and seemed really low quality, also there was hardly any in this kebab. The naan bread was more like a wrap, it was greasy and the sauce seemed like it was from nandos not usually a bad thing but wondering why it’s on my kebab. They had more certificates of food hygiene on the wall than ever seen which makes me suspicious.When I went to collect the gentlemen was extremely rude.Basically avoid this place no matter how hungry you are.

Ordered a takeaway, arrived spot-on on time, piping hot and good food. Would definitely recommend. (Side-note; the donner meat, if that's what you're into, is by far the best in Richmond)

Absolutely shocking service entire order went in the bin, kebab was greasy and chewy inedible spicy chips were not spicy, took me 7 days to get the manager to call me to offer 50% off first and last order such attitude problems with staff. Take your money elsewhere coronavirus used an excuse for not sorting the issues, I expect they still took other people’s money and orders during this time

Excellent food, no card payments which I didn't know about until I went to pay. This said I found the food to be incredibly tasty with the manager seeming to take extra care in explaining the dish, how it would be cooked and that it was a meat on the bone dish.I would strongly recommend it to any friends but also letting them know that cash payment is only accepted, which I found this be a little odd but as I was eating on my own found it easy to accept. However, if it was for a large sit down occasion I would have been struggling to pull the cash together.Recommend putting a sign up at the entrance flight all to see, and large enough so that no excuse is made on it not being visible or something similar.Excellent food and vey pleased with the service provided.
