Best Haddock and chips we’ve had in a long time, crispy batter, not soggy and very fresh fish. The cafe is spotless and the staff were very friendly especially the waitress, she took the time to chat and had a lovely smile. Will definitely use again if we are back in Hawes

Excellent food. Cooked to.order so still piping hot when we got back to the caravan site. Fish was delicious and the fishcake is massive. Definitely recommend.

First time here visit. They had homemade steak pie, onion gravy and chips on the special board. The pie was as good as any I've had, very filling. Hope to come back and try it again 👍

A regular choice for bikers in the centre of Hawes, tasty fish & Chips, curry sauce is different to the normal chip shop style been a creamy tomato style, it's ok however prefer traditional type curry sauce.. other than that a great spot to stop, can get really busy of a weekend!!

Ordered a takeaway about 1.30 on Thurs 19th May. Had gluten free cod in batter which took 20 mins as presumably freshly prepped and a separate fryer needed heating up... it was a truly fantastic piece of fish. Keep an eye on the opening hours...

Great fresh food. Girls enjoyed their burgers with onion rings. I had spam fritter with chips. Hubbie had chicken and mushroom pie and chips. The batter on my fritter was light and crisp. Enjoyable fresh food.

My husband and I enjoyed a takeaway cod & chips and battered sausage & chips. Absolutely delicious! All freshly cooked. Highly recommend!

I had the Chippie Special. Fish and chips, mushy peas, bread and butter with a pot of tea. Great value for money and the best fish I've tasted in a long time. Staff were polite and friendly.

Amazing food! The double cheeseburger is just delicious. Everything we had was freshly prepared and great value. There is always a line but 100% worth the wait.
