Stopped for a spit of lunch after a riverside stroll. Ate outside. Generous portions served quickly fro an excellent basic "pub" menu with additional dishes. Staff friendly and efficient. Have been before and will go again. Dog friendly. Plenty of room outside next to the river. Strongly recommended.

Lovely beer garden, friendly staff. We didn't have time to try any food, hopefully we will next time we drop in.

Fantastic meals, great atmosphere, very friendly and highly recommend. We did not stay in the accommodation, we just had a meal.

Stunning location. Excellent value. Good food. Simply lovely traditional pub.

Good light lunch. Very pleasant staff. Cozy warm fire and a good atmosphere.Black Sheep ale a bonus

·

Great welcome and great food and drink. Warm log fires which were ideal as the weather was less than ideal. We were driving in a camper van and the pub kindly allowed us to stay over in their car park.

We stumbled across the Cover Bridge Inn while out for family walk. Never knew it existed. Of course we popped in. We treated ourselves to sandwiches and chips (cheeky Pint). We really enjoyed the good food, staff were extremely friendly and we loved our visit. We will be back soonThank You.

We went here as they allow overnight stays in campervans so we did! Excellent service and welcome, lovely cosy pub with log fires and great beer and a great location on 2 rivers and a lovely 20 minute walk to Jervaux Abbey.

Stopped for lunch whilst on a walk in the area and had a decent experience on the whole.A friendly guy at the bar, the fires were on and it was a cosy atmosphere.Good food, which was very decently priced, and had the 'Steak Pie with chips and vegetables. The sprouts had seen better days though. No interaction once the food had been given to check how things were.On the whole I would recommend for lunch if in the area.
