Really gorgeous food, well worth the price paid. They don't do pints of coke though, only bottles so very expensive for a pint equivalent. Beautiful surroundings , beautiful restaurant. Would recommend the Sunday lunch, booking is essential though.

Dined here for Sunday Lunch and couldn’t praise it highly enough! Just a superb 3 course lunch and all of it cooked to perfection. Outstanding stuff.Shame so many people dining there have few or zero table manners and cannot even hold a knife and fork correctly. You’re in a dining room, not a chimpanzees tea party!! Furthermore, knives NEVER go into mouths. Google table manners - you spend enough time at the table looking at your smartphones!

Incredible 3 course Sunday dinner. The Goan Mackerel was superb and one of the best carvery meals I've ever had. The beef was incredible. I cannot wait to return!

I have visited a couple of times for Sunday lunch with family. The food is amazing, the service is impeccable and the setting of the whole place is stunning! Definitely worth a visit!

Exceptional sunday roast, very high quality, big portions of all the trimmings. Great value too, especially if going the three course option.

Booked a couple of nights stay B&B plus an evening meal as we had tickets for The Forbidden Corner. What can I say? A fantastic experience all round. Room lovely, food exceptional and attraction amazing. Pleasantly surprised by the cost of food and drink - no over charging because you are miles from anywhere - and it was all good quality and locally sourced (I believe). We will definitely stay here again if we come back to the area. It would be daft not to!

Food is awesome, view spectacular. Staff are really genuine friendly yorkshire folk, I was there as a DJ for a wedding. It's easy to see why this is a nominee for best wedding venue in yorkshire
