NEVER BOOK HERE!Had a room booked a month or so before the date we were due to come.This room was booked for a supplier who was staying close to our wedding venue. I rang and confirmed the booking and booked a table for the evening. When the supplier arrived they said they were closing and not letting anyone in. My supplier subsequently had no where to stay the night before our wedding!When I asked why we were not informed by email or phone they could not give an answer and no answer as to why they were closing with zero apology!The worst customer service I have ever come across! And a place I certainly would stay well away from!I have all the booking confirmation details and even spoke to someone to confirm and book tables so there was no excuse!

Called in as we were passing and had Sunday lunch..Glad we did. Food just right..staff friendly and welcoming.

A lovely pub in the village of Aysgarth Yorkshire. The staff are very friendly and the beer is well kept. As I didn't stay here I don't know what the rooms are like but the location is good. They serve food which was nice, typical pub grub. Recommend if you're in Aysgarth.

We are staying at a local site and went to visit the pub. Maybe a lock down reflection but the "open all day" sign is not correct. We were told the pub should open for lunch but were greeted curtly saying "who told you that? We're shut!" With such a hostile greeting like that, we won't be back.

Nice food, quite a small village pub and restaurant so would be advised to try and book as the season starts pick upVisited late match and we're lucky to get a walk in seating

I came here for dinner so not staying over (though I will next time I'm here) but wanted to rave about the place. It's so humble and not trying to be anything. Just honest and good food and service and wonderful staff who want to take interest in you and talk to you and welcome you.As for the food...the steak was one of the best I've had for a very, very long time. If I'm honest I was surprised because the place doesn't claim to be fine dining or anything. The menu is quite limited. But the quality of the food exceeded all my expectations.I come to this area a lot and this place might just be my new hangout.Wonderful people. Let's keep locally run places like this in business.

We came here for new year with a group of friends and had an absolutely brilliant time.The food was excellent in every way possible.The range of beer was also very good and also will likely.The staff were very friendly and great fun.We stopped a couple of nights in our vans and plan to return this year as we all loved the place.We also had dogs with us and again the staff were fabulous with them.This is a genuinely lovely traditional pub.

Fabulous food, a beautiful pub and staff that made us feel so welcome. Can't think of anything negative to say, a wonderful pub. Will definitely be back!

Had a lovely meal here after walking the sales. Staff lovely, food great. Planning to go back later on the week if the experince is repeated on course for a rare 5 star review from us.If your hungry and close by highly recommended.

My partner and I have just spent 2 nights here. Room 3 is lovely 4 poster bed, lovely bathroom including shower and roll top bath. Information in room worth reading, lots of info regarding times for breakfast etc.! Food was quality and so delish. 15 mins walk to Aysgarth Falls. Bolton Castle approx. 4 miles away, well worth a visit Idyllic and scenic location. 8 miles from Leyburn.
