The White Hart Country Inn in Richmondshire

Popped in today for a quick drink whist visiting Hawes. The staff were superb , friendly and very helpful.Beer was great, genuinely fantastic pub, thank you.

Went for dinner and it was amazing. Partner had beef, I originally chose salmon, but had run out, so went for 2nd choice of lamb. So glad I went for this. Staff were lovely. Bit more expensive than others, but worth every penny.

On may 5th may 2022, we went for a pint or two. We sat at a table and a member of staff put a reserved sign on it and said it was reserved from 5pm. At 4.30, the staff member came over and said the party had arrived early and we had to leave. I we found this very rude and we left saying we would go to another pup where they would make us welcome. If they want to run a restaurant then it should be advertised at one. Not throwing people out who just want a drink . We would not visit again as this was disgusting service and attitude.

Okay for a drink, sort the decor out, lovely old building with big fire places and horrible wall paper up. Staff okay. Didn't feel welcomed to come back for food though. Not paticarly clean.

Lovely meal at the White Hart, the seared liver is to die for. Fantastic service, food and drinks, shame couldn't get booked for another night, but if you get a table then you won't be disappointed.really impressed.

Great evening birthday celebratory dinner. Even managed to squeeze another diner at very short notice. Amazing food and certainly recommend the liver or lamb henry 👍

We had some great meals. Best was the fish platter, but the salmon was good too.Friendly staff, efficient service.

Lovely pub, roaring fire, fab food, great beer and dog friendly. Great staff. Perfect pub, couldn't fault it. Will go back.

We had an amazing evening dinner as the food was delicious and cooked to perfection. The wine was lovely and the staff were friendly and very efficient. I couldn't fault it.

My wife and I popped into the White Hart today for lunch and a mini celebratory drink after completing the purchase of a holiday property just over the road on The Hill. We received a wonderful welcome from the two ladies who served us and made such a fuss of our lovely dog Dexter. We had a very tasty lunch which was served quickly and are delighted to say that the White Hart will be our 1st recommendation to the guests who stay in our cottage. We look forward to calling in again soon!
