This little open air cafe is a must for a stop off on the A66 (scotch corner). Theres plenty of parking in the layby.. choose to sit in your car or, picnic tables which are on a grass verge where you can relax and enjoy the delicious food and drinks. Part of our journey is this lovely stop off so, come and enjoy this to xx

It's a lay by ! Used by truckers as it is the first one on the A66 as you come off the A1. There are toilets and the cafe emits a very nice cooking smell. No one including trucks had any difficulty in getting parked.

Stood at the counter, literally 2ft from the lady behind it, for two minutes, and was completely ignored while she messed around with pens. Went somewhere else where they acknowledge customers.Place looked absolutely filthy and no prices on most of the menu.Avoid and head to the lovely farm shop just a few minutes west.

Very nice lay-by area. Here they have a cafe that serves all range of breakfast meals including square sausage and black pudding. Toilet facilities are very clean. Dog walking area also. Have knocked a star off because they do not serve hash browns with their breakfast items. All in all very friendly staff. Would recommend.

Had a takeaway breakfast. Nice apart from the murdered egg

We didn't purchase anything from the cafe, but it was an excellent place to take a break with ample toilet facilities and bins. If you need somewhere to stop, you can get cafe food, access the facilities and take a break.

Great place to stop at the beginning of the A66 when going westwards. Lots of easy parking, toilets, small take away cafe, and some picnic benches. Easy to get back into the A66 going westwards.

Always a pleasant stop. I generally make a comfort stop here then buy coffee and and cake from the kiosk. A good vibe here. Not expensive. Apetising aromas. Obliging, well mannered staff, picnic tables to sit at. A real gem.

Always pop in on the way to paddling the river Tee,s and have done for years nice little stop of for a hot drink and various butty,s . Plenty of parking outside eating only and basic toilets attached fast service at a reasonable price 😅

Great breakfast stop on the way to the Lakes. Nice bacon roll and a cheeseburger with 2 coffees all in at £9-50. Food is always good, well worth the wait as busy most of the time.
