Great location, nice room, comfy bed and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I think they had an off day with the breakfast.

I travel for work every week and so I get to see the bad and the good. The staff are super friendly and my room is nice, clean and comfy. I ordered the steak and ale pie and I have not had such a delicious meal in some time. Everything was clearly home made which makes a massive difference. Very very tasty and a lovely presented place. The of the easiest 5 stars I have given!

Clean and tidy room. Fantastic and friendly staff. The bar was well stocked and the food was tasty with big portions. Will be back very soon.

Came here just for cold drinks on a very hot day!!! Outside seating available back or front of pub, food menu looked fab and reasonable priced, however we didnt plan to eat till evening so didnt have food.Would recommend.

Only watched a game of football here, had a few pints before moving on. Bar staff forgot to bring change then charged too much for what I had.... all very pleasant and helpful though and will go back for a drink when in the area.Outside drinking area but can't recall seeing any parking.

Really good pub, very nice inside and has a cool beer garden with hear lights etc. Always has such a lively and happy environment, the staff are really friendly and the food is exceedingly good quality for a good price. Drinks are well priced too with a good selection including pale ales.

Average room , bathroom across the hall (no ensuite with this room ) nice staff , big English breakfast. nice bar and great pool table .
