I've swapped between 4 and 5 stars on this review so many times finally settling on 5! The one and only thing that I wasn't happy with was the mattress and i didn't feel it warranted a whole star deduction when everything else was so good. For me it was far too firm and it meant I didn't have the best sleep. That being said the rest of our stay was outstanding. The staff are just incredible so attentive. They bend over backwards to make you feel special, nothing is too much trouble. The room we stayed in was the Rahmoune and it is beautifully decorated throughout, including the bathroom which is a great size with a stand alone bath and walk in shower. The garden with hot tub was lovely and private and the hot tub was very clean and preheated to a delightful temperature for our arrival. Now for the food...absolutely stunning couldn't fault any of it. We did the wine pairing and throughly enjoyed each cause, special mention to the marmite butter and those little beetroot canopes absolutely delicious! Breakfast was amazing too. The package is quite expensive but if you ask me its most definitely worth it what a lovely place, in an idyllic location. We will most definitely be returning.

Fabulous place. Great friendly service in a great location. Food was excellent and couldn't fault it. Only one slight niggle, and its being really picky, was the show head in the room could do with replacing, but other than that 5 stars all round.

Only came for an evening meal and drinks. Staff/service were excellent and the 5 course meal was first class. Would highly recommend and will be returning when we are in the area again.

Old headmaster’s house beautifully transformed into a luxury hotel. Set in a wonderful location with walks literally on the doorstep. The staff are excellent, attentive without being overbearing, with nothing being too much trouble. The afternoon tea was very tasty combined with superb vistas from the lounge window. We didn’t have the evening meal, which is a fixed 5 course menu, but based on the excellent breakfast I have no doubt it would be superb. I can recommend the Moroccan style room which is large and very comfortable, the private garden and hot tub was the icing on the cake! A highly recommended hotel which we wouldn’t hesitate to stay at again.

Had a wonderful meal here earlier this evening with my wife. The food was cooked well and the ingredients were of high quality. The staff went out of their way to make our evening memorable. This is a restaurant that deserves to do well.

My husband and I stumbled across this place on our walk. We enjoyed a champagne afternoon tea which was absolutely delicious. We were given the private room which was wonderful. The staff were also very friendly and kind. Highly recommend a visit!

On arriving we were welcome by the friendly staff. We started our stay with afternoon tea and the onward the the barn. The hotel staff and chefs were very accommodating with our celiac dietary needs and all the menus were adapted. The afternoon tea was very nice but it’s hard to get a very nice gluten free bread, so well done. The barn is about a 10 minute stroll but is well worth booking this accommodation.A big thank you for making our stay memorable
