Beefeater in Rotherham

First visit to the restaurant very impressed with the service. nicely set out enjoyed the starter main and dessert would highly recommend.Portion size were a little on the small size hence the four stars otherwise I would have given five stars .We will be going back

Not been in here for a bit and definitely won't be returning......"haven't got this, haven't got that" seemed the norm but for Christ's sake.....no coleslaw.....absolute basics to make (or buy), no this, no that then your food turns up with bits missing....."got none"....I always understood that if you'd "got none" then something to replace it might have been in order but no......half empty plate but full price (which is overpiced)......need to buck your ideas up I'm afraid 👎👎👎

5 of us Visited today for my birthday meal.. food was absolutely beautiful.. Great choice of food and drinks.. our waitress Jess was brilliant very welcoming and professional.. Will definitely be visiting again

Another update and normal service has resumed by normal I mean friendly helpful service 👏👏.Updated Review 😮.Firstly I was impressed upon arriving that the manager was telling a customer about "Meal Deal" which you can have if you're staying at Premier Inn that includes 2 courses, a drink and breakfast for £24.99 obviously there are supplements on some items and currently you can upgrade to extra course for £2, so that was really good customer service.It's amazing how different things can be at different times, so this time I've come here as my last experience was so good, but unfortunately the service has changed today it was very slow service, I realize that sometimes things don't always go to plan but it'd be nice to know things are running slow due to unforeseen circumstances, having arrived at 1800 my food eventually arrived at 1903 but upon asking where my food was I was told that I'd only been waiting 41 minutes since I ordered and not the hour I said 😂 in this situation that information is not helpful surely it would have been better to say "sorry, I'll look into it", don't fight fire with fire.I'm not going to reduce my stars rating due to this experience as everyone has bad day's sometimes.Even the staff at the Premier Inn weren't overly happy today, winter blues I guess. 🤷.Original review.As someone who regularly stays at Premier Inns I always choose ones that have Beefeaters as the quality of food is much better.The Brecks did not disappoint the staff were all very friendly and gave an excellent level of service whether it was the evening staff or at breakfast, the food was top notch too, I would definitely recommend this Beefeater and the neighboring Premier Inn.

I spent 1 week in the hotel and had the pleasure of getting fed here every day. Staff are really really nice and the food is amazing 👏

Nice place, food and staff, especially a young man who served us was really friendly, excellent service.

Unfortunately, 2nd visit where the fillet was not cooked to my wife's liking. she likes it well, well done, but once again she had to send it back😕 my mix-grill was 👌👍will still go for breakfast tho 😉

Came here for dinner as was staying in the hotel. Was waiting to been seen to for my table of 1 for ages. After this The staff where very nice and helpful however I was sat next to a table full of kids actually running around the restraint and they knocked into my chair/table several times so that could of had a stop put to it. I ordered the calamari which was actually awful! Wasn’t circular and I genuinely think it was just deep fried batter that was burnt and thrown in a bowl, worst £6 iv ever spent. I had the lamb chops for main which where very basic but still okay. Meal and 2 drinks came to £30. All in all staff where friendly and nice but I won’t be eating here again.

Credit where credit's due, I'm always a little skeptical about chain restaurants but we stumbled on this lovely place just before Xmas while travelling to family & had a great meal. We returned today and it was just as good . Varied menu and wines, had the best steak I've had in years and actual HOT coffee, a rarity I find.. Compliments to the chef and to the very cheerful professional staff

No peeled prawns like in the the rest of beefeater...no pizza, just a piece of bread with tomato and cheese. I'm a regular customer in all the Beefeater restaurants and this is a joke. Manager hidden when all was reported, just excellent waitress understanding the problem.
