BlueBell Inn in Rotherham

Group of 7 of us went for food. Limited menu which isn't stated on the website. Roast dinners were appalling, they were cold (one so cold we sent it back) with some trimmings missing. We had quite a long wait for our food which would have been fine had it have been freshly cooked which due to the temperature it clearly hadn't. 3 meals came out first, by the time the other 4 arrived the first 3 were almost finished. One of the kids roast chicken had bones in so wouldn't be suitable for younger children also not stated on the menu. Definitely won't visit here again for food

We enjoyed a lovely family tea out at the Blue Bell on good Friday. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was lovely, the service was good and its dog friendly too.They offer a special kids menu and currently a limited main menu but still found plenty to choose from.

We ate here today as a party of four. From starters to pudding it was all fresh and delicious. The staff are lovely, very warm and welcoming and kept our drinks replenished. It was our first time but we will definitely be returning.

Even though short-staffed and very busy, the customer service was warm and friendly. The steak was excellent too. Thank you Alex for fitting me in even though you were serving only customers who had booked

Popped in recently for a spot of lunch, it's been a while since we last visited.Nice pub restaurant, very clean inside, staff are really friendly & service is good.We had the vegetarian pie, chips & veg + a cappuccino each, which we really enjoyed, veg was rustic & not 'soggy' as in some places we've been, lots of flavour in the pie too.Maybe we'll try dessert next time as we were too full up on this occasion!

Great atmosphere 6staff we're very helpful. I had booked a table on line and was greeted with a smile. Everything was explained clearly snd table service wS a real treat.Nothing was too much trouble. Good choice on the menu and when the food arrived it looked and tasted lovely. Nice and hot too.Would really recommend a visit.

We hadn’t booked and we’re told that it would be a 40 min wait for food. But I think it came out in 20 mins as we really weren’t waiting for very long. Overall very nice food and the customer service was excellent as always. Will definitely be coming back.

Arrived at 6.45pm, starters arrived 7.30pm- pub wasn't busy. Starters sent back as were really cold.Half the menu wasn't available.My daughter had the vegan peppered pie which was substituted with mushroom pie, the vegetables were carrots, broccoli and peas. Carrots were dry shabby looking and were like rubber, the broccoli way over cooked and watery.We passed on desserts.We have eaten here a few times so were disappointed and won't be returning.

Good food, great service and reasonable prices. Excellent.

STAY CLEAR. Had to wait over an hour to get food. The “roast dinner” came with only 3 tiny roast potatoes, all of which where burnt to pieces.The quiz atmosphere was quiet and awkward. The main prize was restaurant vouchers…in case you wanted to come back and wait another hour for more burnt potatoes!Highly recommend…avoiding.
