Horrible grotty little pub with rude owners and bar staff. This place gets unsavoury characters frequenting the place there are plenty of other places in the surrounding areas that are much more reasonably priced and have a proper atmosphere unlike this hole.

Now let me just say I'm normally a real ale drinker, but i can assure anyone that the keg Magnet beer here is superb. Go and try a well kept pint at this very welcoming spotlessly clean pub, can't recommend enough.

Great night for our friends Golden Anniversary. Great pie and peas best I have had in a long time. The band The Beats were amazing.

We booked a room upstairs for a private event and the proprietors couldn't have been more helpful. They put on an excellent buffet and afterwards there was a quiz in the pub downstairs (there is a quiz every Thursday evening)!
