We love this cafe and come here quite often from Barnsley, even came by bus today took about 1.5 hours but we’ll worth it.Good food, great staff, very reasonable prices..

The place location was good just by the lake and the staff were very friendly. The cakes tasted great.The outdoor seatings were not clean.

First time visiting here with my parents on my day off. Lovely friendly staff and fresh and tasty food at a reasonable price. Recommend and will be visiting again, hopefully when the weather gets warmer for a seat outside 🙂

This cafe has got a lot of good reviews so I have given 3 stars instead of two. We must have got them on a bad day.The cafe was quite busy but all the customers were waiting for extended periods for food. Admitted they stated there was a bit of a wait, but waiting over 45 minutes for an Egg and Mushroom sandwich and Poached eggs on toast is extreme in the least. Had we not been made to pay when we ordered we would have left. If you are not able to fulfil the orders due to a lack of staff, then you shouldn’t accept the number of customers through the door.My first visit here, and I’ve got to say it will be my last. Staff were pleasant enough but I’m afraid the service was just not good enough.

Excellent food and also overlooking the River DonPlenty of swans and a couple of mallards wanted to join me for lunch.Unfortunately I had just finished before they arrived.Apparently, it's also known as Swan Lake which is ideal for the location

WOW what can I say, if I say how great was then I’d never get a seat🤔Its fantastic love it, very clean,staff are great and the food was super as was the coffee. Amazing views outside too coffee at the side of the lovely canal Swans and ducks paddling by. Just fabWell worth a visit, just leave me a seat 👍🏼(good prices too 🤫)
