Can't rate this place highly enough! Right from the great booking process, the attentive service, to the exceptional food, all excellent. All the food was amazing with very generous portions. Extensive gf options available. We had a fantastic family meal and left very fat and happy.

Really sad that this is just not as good as it used to be. First time visiting since before lockdown & while the food is very good it's just the little things which let it down. We had to wait ages to catch a member of the waiting staff attention to ask for drinks, the girls were rushed off their feet so no fault of theirs. Really think it's time for some new plates! The ones our food was served on were passed rustic, they were ready for the bin, really not good enough! We were never asked if we would like a dessert, managed to ask for the dessert menu, but no one ever came to ask us if we'd like anything and we'd got fed up of trying to get anyone's attention. It's sad as it could be excellent, like it always used to be with just that little bit of TLC!

Inside is set out nice and the staff are very welcoming, I feel the food though is overpriced for what you recieve. Unfortunately this seems to be the norm nowadays, when I pay alot of money I want to feel like I've been fed when I leave not pay more for a garnish of salad e.t.c.I left feeling like I had the wool pulled over my eyes..

Food was nice, quite rich and very creamy. Some waiters weren't aware of what food was available and had to get someone else to come to the table instead. During the meal I tried 5 times to get the waiters attention and was just walked past, it wasn't fully booked so unsure why this was but not the end of the world. It would be good if the menu highlighted the vegetarian options, I ended up using my phone and opening the menu on their website as that had the V sign next to the items so easier to distinguish. I would go back again, quite enjoyed the food.

Really enjoyed the food here. Had a 3 course meal and we all had clean plates at the end.Staff were friendly.Would have given 5 stars but decor of the place was a bit bland. Felt more like a curry house than an Italian restaurant.

My partner and I had our first anniversary meal here on Tuesday evening. The restaurant was relatively quiet with only 4 tables occupied. The service was wonderful, the staff all evidently enjoying working there. The food was amazing, we both had starters, my partner had battered calamari and I had prawns in a chili oil, both were fantastic. Particularly the calamari which came with a surprisingly large portion and a beautiful accompanying garlic sauce. For mains, my partner had cannelloni and I had risotto. Both again were amazing and obviously completely cooked fresh. All this came at a reasonable price also. My partner and I had a starter, main, and 2 drinks each and the bill came in at less that £60.Notable point, it has a partly open kitchen which is something I always enjoy in a restaurant, seeing the food been cooked is something I love to see while eating out.Brilliant experience.
