Ellies Pizzeria in Rotherham

Ellies is just great. The menu has pizza, pasta, burgers etc. The Chicken Kebabs are delicious. Never had a bad meal from them.

Never go anywhere else.Always had great food.

Been to this takeaway a few time since I moved to Rotherham and th pizza and cheese garlic bread are the best I have ever had and prices are great to then to to turn I up went with a chicken burger 🍔 and dam that thing was amazing I would recommend this place to anyone and staff are very friendly and all way a smile super star keep it up in there

Lovely takeaway from Ellis wellgate. Food fresh and hot. A little expensive but we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals

Worst kebab & chip box ever.. Thick meat with chips absolutely covered in what can only describe as tomato soup.(chilli sauce). Never have i ever seen watered-down chilli. Went in the bin. Never will i go there again !!

Oh dear Ellies what happened to the food quality and service that we have loved for over 30 years! Last time we ordered we thought it wasn't as good as usual but we thought we would give you the benefit of the doubt. Tonights order came cold with chips that were rubbery and a burnt garlic bread. We called you to raise our concerns wishing to talk to Toni but was told that our money wouldn't be missed if we didn't return.

They are horrible towards there team also just to let ya all know tgere cowslaw is from asda and tesco and put it in there own pots which they get 3 pots out of it and sell it for £1.80 each pot

Ordered via app rather than telephone and received a rude phone call to ask why I hadn’t paid extra for something provided for free in person or via telephone order; to which I pointed out we’ve never been asked to pay extra in the 6 years of ordering via phone for collection, told would be extra. Arrived and quality and packaging has all changed, will not be ordering again and miss the old Ellie’s where staff were lovely and chips weren’t soggy in polystyrene

Sent our order back last night after waiting 1 hour and 45 minutes and ringing twice to be told the driver had left 30 minutes previously if we’d have been made aware of the delay we’d have been more tolerant. Been ordering from you every weekend for over 26 years and never had this level of bad service! Reluctantly looking for another takeaway provider !

I have no complaints about the food , but I have been a customer of this place for over thirty years and I am disgusted with the staff ! Although we are aware of the difficulties during the lockdown , we rang an order in on their first opening evening delighted that they were open . We were told it would be an hour , fine , it's worth waiting for . But no , we rang them an hour and ten minutes later to be told we were next , twenty five minutes later , I rang them again ! After I had corrected him twice , I am Mrs not sir , he continued to call me sir and said, it's on it's way . Yes , we received the delivery , yes it was as nice as it always is , , but to wait an hour and forty minutes and be repeatedly called' sir ' , I am furious . The owner is a cracking bloke , but his male staff need a lesson in manners . I doubt I will get a reply , but I think in future I will think twice about ringing them .
