Fitzwilliam Arms Hotel Restaurant in Rotherham

Great price, basic but clean rooms, very friendly staff, good entertainment (karaoke/disco).Unfortunately we stayed In the room with the kitchen bellow, which has a loud extraction fan which came on at 5am. Apart from that I couldn't fault this hotel at all, and will definitely stay again.

Staff very helpful and friendly and delt with problem with breakfast very professional . Rooms are very basic . Furniture should be thrown out , walls are very thin . So could hear everything going on next door .

Fantastic room, we had the Deluxe Family Suite and it was the size of our 2 bed flat! 2 big bedrooms with super comfy double beds, bathroom bigger than what we have at home with a great shower and a separate bath.. Staff very friendly, great breakfast- full English + selection of cereals, toast and jams, juice.. Will definitely return when we're back in the area..

Stayed here on a Monday evening....easy to find and quick check-in....reception staff were lovely and was a hassle free process to get our keys.....the room was nice, clean and very warm....tv worked well and the shower was lovely....radiator was turned down very quickly....bar was well stocked and the menu was nice....bar staff and customers were really friendly....breakfast was nice and plentiful....Great value for money and would definitely stay again.

This review isn't for the stay but the hotel service!! Unfortunately, I did have to cancel my order and there was an issue with booking.com when I tried to deliver. I contacted the hotel this morning and was dealt with in a professional and efficient manner. Great customer service and always polite! Well done team

This was a lovely place to stay at on a Saturday because there were 2 events running at the same time, a birthday party and a karaoke night, and clearly everyone was having a blast!

As always feels like our second home, staff are so friendly, place is well run and so clean!

We had our wedding here on the 25/2/22 All I can say is they was amazing from start to finish, Emma the wedding co-ordinator is Fabulous! We recently stayed here for a wedding, we had a fantastic stay, we fully enjoyed the entertainment, we had a pub quiz on the Friday and Irish bingo, it's a no-thrills hotel in terms of the rooms but the staff go above and beyond and really make this a stand out venue for a friendly stay which we will definitely be returning to. The wedding side of it was definitely stand-out, staff were entirely professional throughout, food was great and they kept the whole event managed well throughout. Overall it was an absolutely fantastic stay and ana amazing wedding, thanks very very very much
