We decided to make an off-the-cuff visit to this lovely restaurant and take-away in Maltby, near Rotherham. Wow! What a gem. The staff can’t do enough to help and the food was stunning.We had a complimentary poppadom each and pickle tray. Great start, and pr work, by the staff! For starters we had the onion bhajis and vegetable samosas… all made on the premises. Non of your bought-in stuff. I had the old staple, chicken tikka masala and pilau rice, and hubby had lamb biryani. We had a plain nan and a Peshwari nan. My word!!! There was enough in the two portions to feed at least five very hungry people. We have tomorrow’s evening meal sorted out with the remainder, and we could have a friend round too. 😉😂The menu is not extensive, but covers all the basics. If there’s something you’d like that’s not there, if they can, they’ll make it for you. The prices are very reasonable too.We’ve been struggling to find a good place for Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi/Punjabi food locally. I think we’ve just hit gold!Give this place a try for dine-in or takeaway/delivery. It really is excellent.

Nice little restaurant off the main road. Has parking. Staff are friendly and food is cooked well and prompt. Reasonably priced

This is the best Indian around we have been to all in Doncaster but nothing compares to 5 rivers we eat here at least once a week

Went here Saturday night must say we've been to alot of Indian restaurants and this is now our favourite! the food was beautiful big portions and the staff was so helpful and would cater for any needs will definitely be returning

One of the best dining experiences i’ve ever had, the food was out of this world and the service was exceptional!

Visited this evening (Friday 19th November 2021) with almost 30 guests for a surprise 50th birthday meal. We had a fantastic evening, staff (Bobbie) was absolutely fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us, as was the manager himself. I have never been in a more welcoming and friendly restaurant as this, nothing was too much trouble and I can’t thank them enough for making our evening so special. The food was amazing as always. I can honestly highly recommend this place to anyone. Well done Five Rivers & thank you! 😊

This is the first time we have used this restaurant, when I went in I was greated with happy friendly hosts. I can tell you all that it is by far one of the best places I have ever ordered food from, tasty, nice, none oily sauces great taste rice and sundries. It is rare for me to leave a review but this place was well deserving of the time thank you.👍

Fantastic. First time we've ordered, despite it being on our doorstep. It is hands down the best Indian I've ever had. Great flavour, big portions, reasonable price and quick delivery time. Not greasy in the slightest, which is my usual pet hate. Will definitely be ordering again.

The staff were friendly and the food was simply beautiful to the tastebuds. I don't have anything bad to say about the establishment, the food or the staff.
