Overall a home feel experience. Super friendly landlady and overall business run with a friendly attitude.Some bar staff are a little mardy if you ask for something a certain way, but the kitchen staff are fantastic when it comes to catering to individuals with dietary requirements.They have a range of alchohol free drinks, sugar free and full sugar drinks. A decent selection on draft and bottled ciders and ales.Tap room can be crowded on a night and although listed as a sports bar, it has one TV for sport any one for something else with the addition of music in the background and crazy amounts of intoxicated people speaking over each other, in terms of sensory - can be a bit much.They are great for hiring for a function, wake, birthday or anniversary they put on a decent spread to you liking too.Even with ups and downs, it's a great little pub. Worth a visit if you're passing or live near.

Lovely new landlady good atmotphere finally yehhhhh

Only one gluten free option on the menu but was sold out as was several other meals, so unfortunately had to leave and go to Wetherspoons so didn't sample any food or drink, but some of the menu did look good. Maybe you need to get there at a certain time before the meals run out as they could be popular.The car park is too tight to park, my friend who came in his van had to reverse out to the road.

Hired it for my mums wake. Lovely spread no complaints. The reason for four stars 🌟 was nothing to do with the venue it was my mum's funeral and i couldn't really say i loved it could i😌

Went for our evening meal on 19th of February won't be eating there in a hurry again the chips came with peel on them the gammon was hard and the peas were dried up didn't enjoy the food at all on the plus side the wine was nice

Just been for Christmas lunch , 3 courses, food amazing would highly recommend thanks Moria, Ian and Beth . Will be seeing you again.

Great pub. Looks fantastic, lovely locals, food and drink is fantastic and we'll priced. One of my favourites in Yorkshire!
