Fantastic food and service. I had steak and chip's it was delicious, special shout out to Lorna brilliant service and couldn't do enough for us Thank you we will definitely be returning soon

Honestly was served by the nicest lady who worked behind the bar.Nothing was too much trouble.The menu has changed and you no longer do a certain sauce.On saying to the lady behind the bar about this she then said I will askThe chef I'm sure we have some.Amazing service putting the customer first. 👏Food was lovely and realy good portions.We will be going there again soon I'm sure.😉🙂

Came here on the 14-3-22We was a party of 12 adults and 6 kids we rely enjoyed it we had a good night,And I want to say a big thankyou to the chef and staff., for there service. we all ordered food and it all came hot and very niceThank you so much great job guys,

Absolutely fabulous, we had gammon,peas,chips,egg and pineapple to eat, and it was absolutely fabulous, good price, will definitely be going time after time. 👍👍🍷

Only took bookings, thought it was really silly to be honest with there being no reserved signs up on tables, plus everyone coming in didn't book either, so I thought it was pointless really. The young woman who told us we needed to book was very ignorant and showed poor customer service. I can understand why this pub now is very quiet, simply the pub is just turning very hungry customers away!

I come here regularly. Staff are always pleasant but I must give an extra shout out to Jordan. He is the only member of staff that has EVER asked if I would like fruit in my drink. He has extremely good customer service skills. Thank you Jordan. The food is always good too.

food was so bad. the grilled chicken came boiled on the mixed grill.. sausage was cold ask for beans and got tomatoes. so I would not recommend at all. the manager was just letting excuses run from her mouth . don't go shocking

Had a Sunday dinner. The beef on the menu said freshly cut when it must have been frozen and microwaved. There was no taste to the beef and it had a strange rubbery texture. The rest of the meal was OK if you are a single and like microwave meals.I do have to say though the staff are so nice tho.

Nice that it's near the nature reserve. It also has a lovely sculpture outside of an Eagle. Inside is OK. Could be a little cleaner. Our table was sticky. The food was average and they were a little disorganised. You know when your host has a checklist and they come round, usually when you have your mouth full, to ask you how your meal us. We'll its nice to be asked but not multiple times by different service staff. They send one small jug of milk for two expensive coffees and when we asked for a second small jug they gave us a quarter full one. Not good given that the meal was expensive at £30 for average at best cooking. So overall three stars 🌟 is generous. It was OK but I won't be rushing back there. Greene King pubs are usually better.
