Lihoma in Rotherham

First time user of Lin Palace and we were mightily impressed. Restaurant standard food offered as takeaway and delivered bang on time. All boxes ticked 👍We'll be back!

Have just been for a birthday this evening and the food was lovely, as were the family that run it. A highlight was the owners son playing his saxophone to us. Thank you for a lovely evening, we will definitely be back.

Amazing food, amazing fast delivery, first time trying it, I’m going to have to make lin palace a regular after this amazing delicious food. Can’t pick a nicer Chinese.

The food is lovely but very small portions when you eat in the restaurant and have the "all you can eat buffet" which isn't and all you can eat buffet because when we were seated we were advised we could choose three starters between us two main meals between us and one rice.So we ordered prawn toast and two quarters of a slice of prawn toast arrived and chicken satay but only two skewers arrived.The bill was £40 which would have bought us a lot of takeaway!!

Saturday night. Arrived 7pm first ones there wasn't sure if was open. Greeted very nice and friendly. 2 adults and 2 children aged 2 and 3.Had banquet. 3 items not available from starter options. Starters took about 30mins and were avg - good. Very very slow service. Ordered mains off banquet again another slow service. Finally arrived and this is where things went from good to dreadful. Black bean sauce tastes like bovril. Wife had pork chop suey which was like a stew with frozen veg peas sweetcorn carrots. Rice was hard as though fried too long. Waited another lengthy period before able to ask for bill. Was asked if food okay and mentioned was poor. Offered alternative but after 2 hours and all main dishes poor had 2 very tired children and was feeling very underwhelmed. Staff friendly enough but I eat out a lot and this is by far worse Chinese I have had. Hopefully this was a one off but all the time we were there only 3 tables including ours were occupied so think speaks volumes.

We called at tea time. We used to patronise this restaurant a few years ago. Different owners now. We had mixed starter as we did in the past. Portions are tiny by comparison. Not as good value for the cost of the meals as we previously have had or continue to have at other chinese restaurants we use. The food we had was fine. Staff friendly enough.
