Monks Bridge Farm in Rotherham

A warm welcome and a nice clean table as soon as we arrived. The carvery was great value for money and I was served quickly at the bar by a very helpful and friendly member of staff. The carvery was delicious, I would thoroughly recommend.

Monks Bridge Farm is located between Dinnington and Laughton Common.This is your typical carvery style pub with plenty to offer on the menu.On this visit I chose the Farmhouse combo feast at £10.49. This came with chips, coleslaw and a sweet chilli dip.There was nothing to complain about but nothing to say the food excelled in any way.The pub itself has a good layout with the kids area away from the main drinking area with adequate seating for all group and family sizes.Decor is ok for the style of pub, seating and dining area was clean with no noticeable stains or patches anywhere.I did a midweek visit at 6pm and there was plenty of people eating so that should be a good indicator of quality and/or value.Lots of carpark space available.Staff were pleasant, polite and smartly dressed, attending to your table at just the right time where other venues get it wrong which is very annoying.Overall I just think it's a standard Carvery pub but it just has the edge on others due to location, size and Staff quality.If this review was informative enough for you give it a thumbs up for others.

Amazing meal! Had 2 standard carverys and for the price (£7 odd) it was amazing! Wide variety of veg to choose from! The desserts were HUGE too! My partner and I had a lovely evening and would deffo recommend!

I haven't been here for ages and I'm not disappointed.I had the all you can eat breakfast and it was delicious. As much food as I wanted for just £6.99Unlimited tea and coffee for just £1.99.Excellent customer service from the team, especially Collette.Would defiently recommended and I already can't wait for my next breakfast or the carveries which from what I remember are equally as delicious 😋

First time eating here, I’ve been to some other restaurants of the same chain. We didn’t have a carvery, ordered off the menu and it wasn’t the best but not the worst (or so I thought). Few hours later and I’m bringing that meal back up! It’s either the pie I had or the dessert. :( won’t be going back.

Myself and my friend have been coming in quite regularly lately. carvery is lovely and very generous for the price. The breakfast is very satisfactory also, even with the price increase, its still good value for money.We want to make a special mention to Colette, she is very friendly and extremely helpful. She always has a smile on her face and is a pleasure to see her floating around the restaurant. My friend said she is stunning also haha. Deena and Paul

Enjoyed our meal last night. Great selection of carvery veg for myself and my wife enjoyed her lasagne. Staff were all very attentive and Emma even got us a cake as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. Thanks will be back

Ate here on a Monday for the first time and will be visiting again very soon.Got a fantastic welcome from Colette and Rob and was looked after with good charm and cheekiness.I had a double cheeseburger and it was juicy, flavoursome and one of the best I’ve had in a long time. My mate had a steak and chips and this was cooked exactly how he asked for it.We followed mains up with, what can only be described as ‘monstrous cakes’! I even got to bring home a gluten free eclair home for my wife. It has taken her 3 days to eat!I can’t wait to go again soon for another proper meal at a very reasonable me price.

Visited with family. All the staff are very welcoming & friendly. Colette really stood out to us all.. very good with the children and even helped us carry our meals back to the table. She also recommended the cheesecake which was delicious may I add. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely brilliant. Food and service excellent. Puddings, well let's say make sure you leave enough room for it. They are huge. Value for money. Not our first time here, needless to say will be back again. Big thanks to Beth service was second to none. Thank you very much.
