Amazing food, nice bar and kitchen staff, lovely night out with my partner!

Absolutely brilliant. I brought my elderly mother and young autistic son and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. My mother and I had the gammon steaks and the eggs were cooked to perfection. The staff were fantastic. Despite the hot drinks machine being broken the lady who served us still managed to make a pot of tea for my mother. The kitchen staff had no problems making my sons meal, they understood perfectly that with his autism it needed to be served as requested. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back. Always a friendly atmosphere, staff polite and welcoming. Foods nice, drinks are reasonably priced. Great for families with a secure park area at the side.

As always the food was great and the service was efficient and friendly. The only detractor would be the toilets. For as long as I remember, there is a lock missing from one of the cubicles in the ladies and the toilets could generally use a bit of attention. That said I always enjoy my visit

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever received, I have never been to the place before and will never again!!We stood in the door for a while waiting for a staff member to advise if we could sit or had to wait… no staff in site just a barmaid who looked as us and just carried on serving.When we finally got to a table the waitress came over and literally threw the beer mats on the table. When ordering the food the barmaid could not answer the questions about the meal and didn’t attempt to get the answers we ordered 1 main meal 1 carvery and 1 child’s meal the food took 40 minutes to arrive at the table and wasn’t the best. The carvery was nice however once again had to wait as the mash had run out.We spent around a hour at our table where the table next to us needed clearing!The overall experience was poor the staff definitely need customer service training and I recommend hiring more staff

Visited for a 75th Birthday. Food absolutely appalling. Complained but the manager wouldn't come out & try to resolve any of the complaints.Steer clear.

Absolutely loved it here. We’ve never been before and it was the kind of place we like. A friendly local pub where all the staff are the staff are lovely and the food was plentiful and delicious. My steak was perfect and for the price well worth the money. We will be back again

This is the first time I've been for food and unfortunately it was not a good experience.I ordered chicken wings sharer and nachos and a ultimate cheese burger.The wings where bland with no taste, nachos had a sprinkling of grated cheese on them, and the burger was tasteless with about 10 chips. Total cost of food £18 ish..I did not complain at the time as I appreciated that the staff where busy enough with it being mothers day.The food needs a upgrade, if I was the chef there I would be embarrassed to send that food out..

Was in the for the taster session last night and was very very impressed with the new menu! Come away with 2 happy kids and we are all Looking forward to giving some of them a proper go soon.

We went in to try the new menu, we had the new burger it was just like kfc!! The chicken gravy is so good!!Had the dirty fries for starters too and that cheese sauce is the best!!
