We popped in for a few beers, as it was the closest pub to where we were staying and found it to be friendly and welcoming, bit of a traditional pub. The bar staff were really nice and they had a good choice of beers and a few ales. We didn't eat so that can't comment but they said if we wanted to order in a take away we could eat it in house. Great few hours playing pool and chatting with the locals.

Great friendly pub with a nice warm atmosphere and excellent bar staff! Great for watching sports on numerous big screens! Really recommended to everyone!

·

Super little pub. Specialising in beers with little food available. Great looking beer garden. Ideal in the summerBig screens available for avid sports fans.

Went here to play a pool match. They have the best outside seating area that I have ever seen (big screen TV's, separate booths that are heated & lit). Bit more expensive than I am used to but well worth a visit, particularly if you smoke or just wish to sit outside.

It used to be a really nice pub. Always felt really welcome but since the new owners have come in its awful. I’m well over age and when I turned up completely sober, hadn’t even touched a drop of drink I was dirty looked repeatedly by the barmaid, and asked if I had been on something. Never felt so offended and when I said I was fine and I hadn’t she continued to give me dirty looks and whisper about me to other members of staff. I felt so so uncomfortable. Another time I went in the same barmaid (I think it’s the landlady) barred somebody for spilling a drink which was clearly an accident. By the looks of things they want their customers to mainly be 30+ which I think is wrong seeing as though many of the younger ones have been going in for years, and now it seems like they simply don’t want us there. Will no longer be going here as I feel too judged every time I go when I just want to have a good time and a laugh with my friends which I thought pubs were for. Clearly my mistake though. All the best to the new owners :) :) :)
