We had a visitor from out of town and decided to take him to The Droppingwell for a meal. We were tired from travelling and hungry. We all chose different meals + desserts from the menu which were excellent. The staff were amazing too. Thank you for making our visit such a pleasant one. We will be regular visitors from now on.

Thanks to everyone of the Dropping well team. A brilliant night for me and my daughters birthdays on Sunday. 26 guests all had a really good night and the food arrived in a good time and was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful always a smile on their faces.I would highly recommend them.

Friendly helpful staff. Lovely meals at a reasonable price. Last went on mother's Day. It was absolutely packed but staff were great, nothing too much trouble Even though they were at it nonstop. Highly recommended

Visited this Sunday, group of 12.I can only comment on my meal, my wife and may lads. All 3 of us were more than disappointed.Wife had mushroom and ale pie, she said it was awful. My lad had an adults burger, he was still, hungry after he finished it.I had fish and chips, frozen chips and the smallest, wettest fish I can describe.Rubbish, lazy food.Decent choice of drinks, serving staff were great but the manager has no people skills at all, tried to usher us off our table even though we were still waiting for puddings, embarrassing!Wont be going back and wouldn't recommend this place anymore. Such a shame, used to love this place.

I've eaten here many times. The food has always been good pub grub. Reasonable prices and deals such as two for £12. Parking is available at the side. Inside and outside seating. The outside is kept lovely with lots of flowers in the summer time. The ladies toilets are clean and accessible. They sometimes have live entertainment best to check. We didn't book a table just turned up ...ordered and paid at the bar giving a table number. A nice pub with a nice atmosphere.
