The Hind in Rotherham

Just returned from a visit this evening. I am a coeliac, was made to feel very unwelcome by one of your members of staff. Whilst I understand that you have to be very careful, to be told I have to visit the website, and he didn't offer any assistance, I felt really upset. My friends ordered and I was look left with nothing so had to leave. It's 2022 and this is unacceptable. In 13 years I have never been made to feel as unwelcome as I did today. It goes without saying I will not be visiting again. Please train your staff better

We have been customers of the hind for many year always good food and friendly staff... today we just popped in for a drink and the manager explained they have launched a new menu .. and asked if we would try their new nachos for them and let them know our thoughts for free .. of course we said yes no problem.. the nachos were lovely all home made lots of toppings they had spring onions in them as well as the usual toppings you expect to find on nachos also they used a cheese sauce and cheese as well which made them really easy to eat they didn’t clump together... so was great to review them for the staff.. the menu looks really good .. and again a nice friendly atmosphere with lovely staff 👍

First time in a few years we've been in here. Really nice atmosphere, very good food and dog friendly. Polite and friendly staff, which is rare to find these days.

Went Saturday and Sunday with different friends, food was lovely on both days, staff were very helpful, particularly Scott. Had the delicious Sea Bass on Saturday, and the fixed price menu on Sunday - 3 courses for £12.99. Roast potatoes were slightly overcooked, but great value overall. Desserts are fab.

What a nice pub, we visited the hind for my daughter's 15th birthday to try something new.We booked a table for 7 and ordered our food, there is two ways in doing this, either at the bar or using their online app.We decided to have starters which we choose the chicken wing sharers, and they had to be the nicest chicken wings we have had from a pub.I had the mixed grill as my main, and the stake was cooked to my liking and tasted fabulous.The kids had children's meals and there was plenty for them.My oldest had the chicken burger and she eat all of it and asked if she could come back another day for more.We were all happy and enjoyed our visit, there was a couple of things that we picked up on while there, we didn't know what to do when we got there and had to ask at the bar where to sit. Not a big deal but when you're new to a place it's nice to be met and shown to your table.2nd, it seemed to take forever for the food to come to the table, when it did it was great, and I'd rather wait than have cold food.3rd nobody curtsey check us while eating, there wasn't any problems but I feel like we should have been checked on.All in all it was great food, great atmosphere and the staff were friendly.Would definitely visit again.

Comfortable surroundings, nice food, good prices. The young man that served us on table 6 gave excellent service. We'll done.

Ordered bangers and mash and also fish and chips. The sausages were burnt on the outside. The fish tasted terrible. We also had starters and these were very nice. But the mains were terrible. Would not visit again.

Lovely Christmas 3 course meal, vegetable soup for starter followed by sea bass with mashed potato, broccoli and cheese sauce. Dessert was a Billionaires gold chocolate bar. Yummy 😋 ❤😁

Although it took 40 mins for our food to arrive it was the most delicious meal we'd had in along time. Hot, fresh & tasty steak cooked exactly to what I wanted, chips cooked to perfection & proper garden peas, not over cooked faded balls of green. Fab dessert too. Bar man was very friendly & apologetic over the wait time. We were very impressed.

Lovely lil local with a great sized back garden! Good pub grub & a great gin selection! Look forward to my next visit 😃
