Its took a while but we made it wanted to visit for a while but its a distance for us to travel well worth it in all honesty we came up to see in our opinion the best one and only Mr waistcoat as we know him from previous pubs but the food and service we received was top class food cooked to perfection and the service off of jess and nieve is top class well impressed all I would say to people is get yourselves in and enjoy the experience top pub top bloke Mr J top staff see you all soon

Like previous reviews here is ours the food was delicious fresh and cooked perfectly and the best value for money by a mile, for us the level of service we received was like a 5 star restaurant the young lady Katie was so professional and polite and helpful and the manager Jonathan was so delightful funny and helpful and dare I say it so smart love the waistcoat I can not recommended this place enough thank you so much you two and you will definitely be seeing us againPS we are a bit biased as we have seen these lovely staff before and as always you do not disappoint keep up the good work

We went out for a meal not sure where we were going calling in this pub was the best decision we have made in a long time the food was absolutely amazing I had the salmon and prawns and my husband had the mega mixed grill it was all fresh and cooked to perfection definitely not microwaved like some pubs we’ve been in before and the service off of the staff was stunning Jess was so polite and efficient and the manager Jonathan was brilliant with us in my opinion every pub needs a Jess and a Jonathan thank you so much we will definitely be back and recommend you to everyone

So bad, they can't even get drinks correct on the app, kids food is cheap, but the quality is so cheap, I wouldn't give it to my dog.. The baked beans looked like/had been under the hot plate for the time it took to cooked the mixed grill... These places are just reheating food as we all know, but don't reheat it 20 mins before you serve it!

(Partner's) Chicken was tasteless, (my) medium-rare steak served over well-done, and served with half-a-pound of very greasy onions, and a woody mushroom the size of a dinner plate. Chips were good and the staff were pleasant. Maybe the kitchen staff need more training?

Just attended a after funeral service at the to King Henry, Must admit I was surprised by the quality of the buffet served.One section of the room had been cordoned off allowing all mourners to sit together.Good service and super quality and variety of food in the buffet.Of coûrse it's still a pub so expect to mix with whoever else happens to be there.

A lovely, family friendly pub serving very decent pub grub at an affordable price. The staff were brilliant. I'll admit I didn't expect much from the outside but was pleasantly surprised.

First time we have been in, first real time our little boy had eaten out. The staff made us feel like we were regulars & made a lovely fuss over our little boy. The food was delicious & the pint was beaut! Will definitely be back.

45 minutes it took to bring out our starters for two! Pub was empty so no excuses and to make it worse the starters were tiny even for a child, you would think with the portions being so tiny that the servers would return to clear our table but she hasn’t been seen for 30 minutes. Not worth the money at all and thankfully i wont be visiting again. My advice for anyone coming would be to just go without. It was really that bad! Onion rings looks crispy (very crispy) but some how were very soggy, honestly laughable how poor everything was.
