Absolutely one of the best sandwiches I've ever had, the whole thing was perfect proportioned! Definitely my new addiction

Love this coffee shop, everything is really nice both food and drink. Lovely service too. Good place to come for a light lunch. It's only a small place so I would recommend booking a table in advance. It's got a private seating area outside which is covered so it's a nice place to meet friends and sit outside in the summer.

Lovely grown up cafe with a great tasting fresh ingredients and vegan choices. I had a beautiful Reuben sandwich - less sour tasting sauerkraut which is to my liking.

We found this place on Google. What a find it is. The food is fresh, tasty and excellently presented. There's a good choice too, and excellent value. The coffee was perfect, my mother-in-law had a pot of tea, she loved the dinky milk bottle 😊The sun was shining so it was lovely to sit in the sheltered outside pretty seating area. We was offered a seat inside the cute area but we took advantage of the good weather. The owner was very welcoming and her assistant was too.My mother-in-law couldn't finish all of her meal but we were able to box it up and take it home, We took a couple of cream scones away too. I will recommend it to all my family and friends and will return again.

What a hidden little gem this coffee shop is. The food was delicious and all the homemade cakes were so scrumptious that I had a hard choice deciding which ones to try so I bought them all 🤭. The staff were so friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend you to try this quaint cafe, you won't be disappointed.

A 'nook' indeed, but well worth finding.Following reading a favourable review for "The Nook" I took my wife and my mother there for lunch today. What an absolutely charming, idyllic little coffee shop...!The latte (£2.50) was fabulous - super hot, creamy and rich in flavour. My hummus & red pepper salad (£4.95) was just beautiful - full of colour, fresh and plentiful. My wife's quiche & salad (£4.95) was delightful - flavoursome and mouth-watering.Even my Mum's toasted teacake (£1.95) was perfectly toasted, packed with currants and served with a sizeable wedge of butter. Finally, the 2 ladies who run "The Nook" were accommodating (my Mum is a wheelchair user) and so friendly. All in all, a simply wonderful lunch and we will absolutely be going again - I cannot recommend it enough...!!

Where else does a blackpudding roll? It was gorgeous. Despite not having a reservation due to covid they found us a table quickly. Very pleasant staff.
