The Village Tea Room and Garden in Rotherham

We had afternoon tea for 5 on a Saturday. Everything was well prepared and we hardly had to wait at all for food to arrive. It was nice to be able to pick a slice of cake to have with the tea! Excellent value and everyone left full.

i had a slice of the mint chocolate cake and id say it’s the best cake i’ve ever had. the balance between the mint and the chocolate is perfect. highly recommended

Lovely garden, good food and great coffee

Enjoyed Afternoon Tea for 5 on Sunday for Mum’s 80th Birthday. It was so cosy and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. The presentation was lovely and everything was fresh and delicious!! Can’t recommend enough!! Great value and service, thank you so much, Mum loved it!!

Just had a small team meet. Afternoon tea was a perfect celebration. Very moist and tasty cake. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Would definitely recommend 👌

Lovely place conveniently across the road from a village car park with 3 hours free parking. Beautiful selection of cakes. Does a very good afternoon tea option. As we hadn't had lunch we had the soup which was delicious and came with plenty of bread and butter. Couldn't resist the cakes as well. If you are passing nearby this place is worth a detour. Just he careful to check they are open. Currently back up to four days per week.

Wonderful food, really lovely atmosphere. Really reasonably priced for such great food and service.

Nice little cafe. Very friendly staff. We all had scones with cream with tea and coffee, which are the best we've had in such a long time. Both inside and out are very homely. Would definitely be visiting again and would highly recommend. Pre-booking is required.
