The Yard Coffee Shop & Bistro in Rotherham

This is a lovely coffee shop. Excellent coffee and the service is always friendly and polite.Food is worth the wait.

The service was ok and the food was about average we ordered eggs royale and over all it was nice however the sauce was the consistency of thick clumpy custard. Plus Vietnamese coffee hadn't been mixed so the coffee was sat on top of the condensed milk, gives the impression they hadn't made it in awhile. Or the barista didn't know what they were doing.Overall it was a slightly below average experience.

We fancier a coffee so stopped off, a drive by that most probably will turn into a regular visit. We had carrot cake & a scone. The place was quite busy with a constant coming and going,which says a lot in my book 😁. The Staff were very pleasant, and the kitchen looked very busy.So, yes, we'll worth a visit.

Service was great as usual but sadly the vegan breakfast was very disappointing . Eggs under cooked , toast barely toasted , tablespoon of advocado with half tomato and half mushroom and half pot of beans with 2 small slices of hallomi was definitely not worth short of £10. Shame as always been great before would have been around £30 if they hadn't knocked off drinks .

Absolutely wonderful in every way. The staff are professional, friendly and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The food was delicious and well priced, and everything was spotlessly clean. Will definitely be returning

Went for late breakfast, service as always was great, drinks spot on but on this occasion, the food let them down. Had full English, bacon was barely cooked, the fat still white and had those black bits on when the same fryer been used a lot, like you get from greasy spoon truckers cafe. Sausage was tasty, Toast was also not cooked, we thought it was bread at first. 2 of us had eggs Benedict, eggs were good but the muffin had barely seen the toaster and went mushy. We like this place and the lady who served us was great, just let down by the 2 blokes in the kitchen on this occasion. We will go back because this was hopefully a one-off.

I wish they would open more evenings, but apart from that... The yard bistro is spectacular.Highly highly recommend

I met up with a friend for breakfast here and it was wonderful. We both got the veggie breakfast and was cooked to perfection. Lovely service and good portion size. The coffee was silky and tasted great. It’s so beautifully decorated and is a little gem in Rotherham. I can’t wait to return.They also took 2 mins of silence on Remembrance Sunday which I thought was wonderful of them to do so.

Lovely breakfast with my husband this morning, never been to this cafe before but definitely going back with my girlfriend's for lunch. Great meau choice and the food looked and tasted fabulous. Thank you all great friendly service as well 👍☺️

I just had breakfast here and I can honestly say it's the best breakfast I've ever had. Taste and presentation are amazing. A beautiful place inside and out with a cosy, relaxed atmosphere. I will 100% be returning and recommend this place to everyone I know. They also serve my favourite violet gin, which was just the cherry on top.
