Woodman in Rotherham

I came in very flustered as I had just been involved in a car accident. The girl behind the till was very calming and sat me down with a glass of iced water so I could get in touch with my insurance company. I ended up staying for the Wednesday curry deal which was very tasty and well-priced. Overall the venue was very clean and tidy and I couldn't find fault with the service. Bravo!

We came for a baby shower and can honestly say it was an amazing experience from start to finish! Staff was amazing and couldn’t help us enough! The food was spot on and we even had a dessert!! Please thank all staff but especially a young lad that was serving us our food and the ginger haired lady on the pizza deck!

Me and my hubby have lunch regularly. We find it to be a pleasant pub with friendly staff and a good atmosphere. The weekday afternoons are quiet and the perfect for a catch up and little rest after a walk with our baby girl.

I loved my visits to the Woodman pub! Celebrating a Christmas dinner in a fantastic atmosphere with great food and service, we thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Since Christmas I have also come to the toddler group on a Monday morning, the setting works really well, the group is lovely, the hot drinks for the carers and toasts for the kids are great and the little outdoor playground is perfect for families. The surrounding gardens are kept really well, walking from the spacious car park to the pub I enjoy looking at the greenery. Well done! We are looking forward to our next visit.

We’ve had a lovely lunch here today. The food was cooked really well and served piping hot. The landlord warmly welcomed us on arrival and went out of his way to make our visit enjoyable. The pub is very clean and well maintained. Definitely well worth a visit!

Love visiting this pub and in my opinion it is one of the best in the area/Rotherham. The standards of cleaning are superb and the service we receive when we visit is always second-to-none. Regardless of how busy it is, you are always greeted with a smile and it really does make all the difference. Credit where credit is due, the management team have really turned this place around.

What a fab pub! All the staff including the landlord are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble and you can see that the pub itself is well run with high standards, good food and atmosphere, infection control is evident and this is a huge plus for my husband and I, especially during the current climate of Covid. The team there should be proud of themselves, well done!

Lovely local pub, very friendly staff & well run by Jack & his team. Had some lovely meals, always a fab night had & nothings too much trouble. Enjoyed quiz nights & live music nights plus lots of other events that are held there throughout the year.

The Woodman is our local pub to where we have lived for the last 6 months, and I can honestly say it is the best, most welcoming pub we have ever known. The bar manager and staff are so friendly and accommodating. Today I brought my childhood friends here, and we all loved it! The perfect catch up, with the best service and the nicest food! I frequently visit the woodman and have found since The new management have been in place, the atmosphere, food and staff are fantastic. They cater for all ages and have started hosting events which have been great to attend. Last night they hosted burns night, the piper was brilliant and really set the atmosphere going.Looking forward to attending the next event.
