Had some excellent vegetable soup a prawn sandwich and an out of this world brandy mincepie

Shared a large steak pie with the missus, I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. If that's the last pie i ever eat I'll have died a very happy man quite simply the best you'll ever have !!!

Quite possibly the best Steak Pie I've ever eaten. Went back the next day to get another and it was equally as good

Nice clasic bakery with some traditional staples. My favourites were the cake filled with dates and the custard slice.

Popped in the bakery for some lunch at the weekend. Ordered a cheese and pickle sandwich which they made up. When it came it was two triangles of cheap supermarket sliced white bread with pre grated orange cheese. From a BAKERY. Think school pack up (but school ones were nicer!) Definitely won't be going in there again!

Wished I lived near to this bakery! Great pasties and sausage rolls, and yummy Eccles cakes! You can see them preparing the food. Great little find by the Castle.

We stay in the Motorhome stopover a few hundred yards from this bakery and wish it was further away it isn’t doing my waistline any good at all , the steak pies are a particular favourite of mine keep up the good work guys 👍

Absolutely outstanding - some of the best pastries and cakes I've ever eaten, no exaggeration - if only you could get stuff from here delivered through the post as I live 50 miles away!

Fantastic cakes and baked goods at excellent prices. We tried walnut tarts and date slices. The lightest pastry and full of flavour!
