Booked the 'you and me' package and I couldn't have been happier! I cannot believe the value, service and overall experience. The food was delicious and all of the team were fantastic. I initially messed up my booking and was so stressed as it was for my boyfriend's birthday! The team arranged it all including our massage and dinner and I didn't have to plan or think about anything! My boyfriend forgot his charger and the treatment lady went and found a charger and lent it to him while he had his treatment. The most wonderful touch was that I mentioned in email it was my boyfriend's birthday and when we arrived there was a birthday card and chocolates for him... Then after dinner a special desert. Thank you to all of the team, see you again!

Had the lunch menu. Risotto was delicious, good level of spice and flavour. Steak was ok, a bit overdone for my liking, chips were amazing. House white was good, I asked for a cab sauv and got a standard sauv 🤷‍♂️

Wow, what an experience! I hosted my birthday at The Verbena Spa and from start to finish our day was perfect. From the facilities to the outstanding service, this place has it all. Alice went out of her way to go above and beyond for us, so polite and kind and an asset to the spa. Beautiful treatments, beautiful food and the spa is very well kept, I am already planning my next visit. Thank you for helping us host a perfect day.

Luxurious, clean and relaxing! The staff were all extremely professional and friendly. I can't recommend this hotel enough! The local town is also fantastic and there's plenty of things to do around the hotel.

If you're looking for luxury, then look no further! The staff in the hotel and the spa are wonderful. The surroundings are out of this world, the treatments in the spa are divine, and the food, well, it's phenomenal! We will be back, and thank you for our little newly wed touch in our room. Mr & Mrs Harris.

Had a great short stay for my birthday (a big one!). The spa facilities and treatment were excellent- warmed us up nicely on a very cold January day.The evening meal and breakfast were first class. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We had a big room, lovely and airy. However, fixtures and fittings in the room were very tired - definitely in need of refurbishment

We stopped for 2 nights 06/12 and was left impressed with every aspect of our stay.Location - 30 second walk into the quaint market town square with plenty of retail stores, pubs and independent shops.Service - Staff are friendly, helpful and cannot do enough to make you feel comfortable.Spa - Very nice. Aromatherapy room wasn't very aromatic but there was plenty of other rooms to use. The relaxation area was very peaceful. The pool looked very inviting.Rooms - We had room 25 and it was perfect for my wife & pet dog. The rooms were cleaned to an impeccable standard.Restaurant/Bar - The crown in the jewel of the place. The food and service is a remarkable standard. The Chef & Waiting staff deserve high praise for the excellent work they do.All in all; a very happy, relaxing stay and would highly recommend. I look forward to visiting again.

Original room booked was too small and the team at reception couldn't have been more helpful. They were fantastic. We were moved to a beautiful suite with a view of the pool and we were delighted. We are returning guests and love the location so much as well as the hotel.Staff attentive and very keen to please the guests. A perfect location for a break before Christmas.

Great character hotel and Spa. Lovely heat area and outside jacuzzi hot tub. Outdoor swimming pool was warm. Rooms finished to a high standard and the suite we had was comfy and relaxing. The bar area is light and pleasant, with a good take of drinks served to your table. Dinner was of a high standard, with the scallops a particular favourite. Good wine list, reasonably priced. Breakfast has a number of options from granola to a full English and eggs Benedict. The staff in all areas of the hotel were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.
