Hovingham Bakery and Spa Tea Room in Ryedale

Lovely homemade bread, cakes and pastries. Cafe not open to eat inside but was gifted beautiful sunshine so ate our jam and cream scone on the outdoor seating at the side of the ford, perfect in every way

Visited a friend who owns Hovingham Bakery, the fresh baked food was delicious, if you haven't been, go.

Brilliant bakery open now for scones and pastries for cyclists, lovely staff and food....stopped again for tea and a scone yesterday, pleased to report that bakery is still open and busy, seats outside as tea room is closed... (March '22)Tea rooms still closed (June' 22)...scones still great!

Visited here on Sunday and was highly impressed and am not surprised by how busy it was.A wide selection of items, all of which were so tasty from those bought from my wife's coffee to the cheese scones and the onion bread roll. The highlight was the wholemeal spelt loaf that was devoured quickly once I got home.Would highly recommend a visit to here.

Superb bakery, in the picturesque village of Hovingham, which has become a regular place to visit. Excellent bacon sandwich, coffee, and always a great selection of bread and pastries. I bought cheese, herb, and onion bread on my last visit and it was very tasty indeed!

Thank you to the staff for letting me pay via bank transfer. Staff are amazing, the quality of the food is unbelievable and reasonable prices. Highly recommended for a lunch stop

Top quality food at reasonable prices, currently only take away but there is some seating available in very pleasant surroundings, if you have time a stroll around the village is worth the effort.

The Baker here actually does the baking on site. These foods items are priceless because they really are created and cooked fresh here and they are beyond yummy!! I shouldn't say this or I will never get in but the food here is absolutely delicious. Steak bakes, bread, cakes, all really lovely. Fairly priced. Well worth a stop and the coffee is also great. I haven't tried the tea. Beautiful area for a walk or a cycle. Great cafe and bakers shop.

It's very popular situated by a beck in the heart of the village of Hovingham : the home baked cakes and breads are delicious and varied : a great selection too. There is an indoor cafe area that's small but comfortable outside plenty of seating . It's very popular the service is great and the staff really friendly. The cakes and breads cater for every taste and are based on that day ! Relaxing and really nice atmosphere
