Jinnah in Ryedale

If I could give 0 stars I would, first visit from out of town 2 adults 2 children visit, no communication from staff, no explaining the difference of buffet or menu food, drinks took 15 mins, all drinks diet coke absolutely flat as a pancake, we had starters arrive before drinks. Starter was disgusting, chicken rubbery and chewy, main buffet rice was hard like it had been sat there all day, chips not cooked properly they were raw in the middle. Complained to the supervisor and was met with rude attitude. He asked if everything was ok I said it wasn't explained what we didn't like and what wasn't cooked properly, was told well we served 50 people today and they didn't complain. Nearly 70 quid bill for a meal that was terrible. Would advise against this restaraunt if you want a half decent meal.

Visited on a Saturday night and found plenty of parking and a real nice looking restaurant. Very clean and really well decorated. The Lady who met us was very friendly and welcoming and the food was excellent. Highly recommended 👌

Went Saturday evening whilst staying locally ,service and food fantastic ,nothing too much trouble Farah very attentive and made us feel really welcome

Cold room on entering. No draught kingfisher. Had one bottle of cobra and asked for alcohol free. Said they only had one bottle left. Ordered masala fish followed by chicken handi. Both courses were unremarkable. Dirty vacant tables had not been cleaned. Staff were friendly and attentive. Something is lacking. Needs Saleem to sort it out. Used to be top notch. Very disappointed.

Just love this place, the host was pleasant and just the right out of friendly. The service was flawless, the food delicious and decor comfortable and clean. Will definitely be revisiting next time we are in York area.

Great curry, good service. The decor has gone downhill since our last visit - that was a long time ago - windows were dirty, frames shabby and carpet had a dirty track walked into it. Much in need of a makeover.
