La Pizzeria in Ryedale

Poor from beginning to end. We were sat at a table which was clearly not big enough for four people, even then we had to ask to be moved despite the staff being unable to put all the food on the table. Felt sorry for new waitress, obviously just thrown in there with little or no training. My Daughters food arrived as we were finishing our main. We were told it was the new girls fault. My food was acceptable, but my family didn't really enjoy their food too much. Also, smoking is permitted (fine, I also vape) but we had a lady smoking a cigarette a few metres away from our children. The reason for this is due to the hot weather, so the front and rear doors were open to cool the restaurant. Very grateful for the fresh air, but then move the smoking area away from the tables near the door. Unacceptable to have cigarette smoke blowing directly into my children's faces in 2022. I didn't enjoy my visit at all. Price was average, but don't care about that if the food and service aren't up to standard.

Have visited La Trattoria a few times the blueberry croissants are fantastic as are the almond ones. The 5 stack pancakes with bacon and maple syrup are simply outstanding not to mention enormous and very good value. Visited again today for our all time favourite croissants and was not disappointed. Staff are very friendly and always efficient.

Brilliant freshly cooked pizzas. They also offer a gluten free pizza which was lovely.Toppings were fresh and generous along with a really well made dough. Quick and easy to order with helpful friendly staff at collection.The only feedback (definitely not a complaint) was that the gluten free base could have been slightly crispier.This is very hard to achieve and does not take away from how good the pizzas were and is merely constructive feedback.We will definitely be ordering again!!

Delicious yummy food, wonderful service - great value for the quality and amount.Had the lunch menu - mussels starter & chicken & mushroom risotto main, and basil and tomato linguine & tiramisu dessert. All very delish - and service impeccable.Highly recommend! No photos cos just couldn’t wait that long to dig in!

First time here despite coming to Malton for years. Firstly, dog friendly which is great. Secondly, the food was fantastic value and tasted great.... very Italian- be warned portions are huge !!Finally, at last an establishment that values customer service... the staff were exceptional and hats off to whoever does the training.Its somewhere we will continue to visit.

Lovely family lunch. They accommodated us with our wheelchair which was great we could all eat together. We had eaten there before my husband had is amputation and enjoyed it at the time. We phoned to see if they could accommodate us the day before and nothing was too much trouble.

Stumbled across here today, went for lunch and had the 2 course option for £12. Whitebait and Calamari starters were delicious followed by 2 lush pasta dishes. Lovely setting, excellent staff and delicious food. Can't say better.

Called in to eat Easter Sunday there were 3 of us and we hadn’t booked, however the lovely staff accommodated us (on the high tables) and the service was excellent by the waiting staff. The food was delicious, pizza, pasta and risotto, which my daughter said was the best risotto she had ever had! Great place, nice ambience. Would definitely recommend.

Came here for a summer's evening and shared starters of Carbonara and Bruschetta. Then for mains we had Pizza Aglio (Garlic) and Pizza Margarita with Ham. Safe to say this was VERY filling, but all the food was tremendous and the staff were very friendly and considerate. Overall, a fantastic restaurant and a must visit if you're in Malton.

Such a good Italian, online booking was easy. Food was well seasoned, pepperoni tasty, and staff attentive.
