Peasy Hill Fish And Chip Shop in Ryedale

Wow! Delicious fish and chips!! The best we’ve ever had and four empty boxes to prove it!! The small fish and chips are an excellent portion size and the staff were really accommodating. All cooked fresh. We found this place via a search on Google maps after a trip to Flamingo Land and it was the perfect end to a great day! Thank you!

5 stars .. The staff are brilliant with great conversation, very friendly ( nothing is to much trouble ) the food is amazing .. always fresh and hot with beautiful batter..The big serving sizes are fantastic ( always full and content after 👍🙂 ) great job .. Thank you ..

Well, if you like fish & chips, this is the place, they do small portions if you eat what I would say "normal" portions (if you're over 50 that is) for less than £5, otherwise you'll be overtakes, the portions are huge but the flavours are so good that you don't want to leave a scrap on the plate.

The oil at this fish and chip shop clearly hasn't been changed for a LONG time.As the photos show the chips were brown and limp. The fish was a poor excuse of a piece of battered fish and the battered sausage was barely battered.The overall quality of the meal was extremely poor, the only edible part of the meal was the mushy peas... Barely.Most of the items on the menu including all sizes of Haddock and large cod were out of stock as well as other items. This is strange for 18:30 on a Friday evening.I won't be visiting again and drove home to eat the meal so couldn't just go back for a refund or to complain.

Great chippy with friendly staff and tasty food at a reasonable price! Definitely recommend!

This is easily the best fish and chips in town if not anywhere. I always drive from down norton to get them but its always worth it. Never had a bad one. I get them in boxes to make sure they are still extra special when i get home. Just want to thank Carlos and the team for alway providing great service and amazing freshly cooked food.

Just been here for dinner, got a small fish and chips special, both items where burnt, ate the fish but chips where too bad to eat ended up in the bin

Just had some awesome fish and chips from Peasey Hill. It was our first visit here and it didn't disappoint. If you visit here you'll be very happy but make sure you bring your appetite because they do not skimp on portion sizes! Brilliant.

Live local the other side of the (norton) heard really good things about this place, so thought I would try it out. It did not disappoint!Perfect, nest fish and chips I've had in a very long time. Batter on the fish was so light and not dripping in grease and the chips were very nice too!
