Pickering Lodges in Ryedale

Nice lodges with hot tubs set back off main road. I found the lodges very clean & well maintained, also cleverly set out so that each one is private from the rest, I've been here 3 times in the last 6 years & I shall return.

Lovely place to stay log cabins and hot tub are fabulous lovely grounds and great food in a lovely bar and restaurant great staff

Pickering lodgesNow we did enjoy our holiday, the lodges are clean but really need some maintenance, and the brochures claims about luxury are quite stretched.It was good value deal, but you think you’re getting a bargain with a luxury lodge, reality is you’re getting what you paid for,Gate held on with ropeMicrowave turntable not working6 ceiling bulbs not workingOne bedroom door latch brokenVanity light in main bathroom not workingMaster bed, mattress significantly smaller than the bed frameAll bed frames larger than mattresses, children constantly hitting their legs on them.Hob extractor light not workingBrochure states “fridge freezer” it is Small fridge with a tiny freezer compartment. That is not a fridge freezer and totally under size for a lodge that sleeps 6.Very poorly stocked kitchen, had to go and buy an oven tray to cook.No vacuum cleaner, but we’re asked not to leave dog hair on carpets and to have them clean on departure .No dishwasher and small amount of plates and cutleryNo communal bins anywhere near lodges, all waste needs to be carried to the site exit.No visitors after 5 pm and all visitors must be declared beforehand.On-site restaurant only open 4 days a week.“spectacular uninterrupted views” although it is nice and very green, you cannot see beyond the site itself so this claim is very tenuous.

Nicely maintained and clean site. Restaurant offers nice little menu which should suit most. Portions are generous !! Staff are all friendly and helpful. Our lodge was spotlessly clean, as was the tub. No excessive noise in our experience. Will come again we hope.

Visited in April 2021 Our lodge was lovely, very clean and tidy. We booked for hot tub and used twice a day. The staff are great. We will be going back

Just got home after a monday to Friday break. Cabin was absolutely beautiful everything we needed and more. The peace of the area the hot tub the views left us wanting to stay.The owners and staff were all very friendly and the on site restaurant could not be faulted excellent menu great prices.We will definitely be back.

The lodges and grounds are lovely. Very clean throughout The hot tub is fantastic . The owner and staff where very attentive . The bar an grill on site did amazing food at great prices .Service was also quick .I will be booking again . We loved this place .

A very quiet place and the lodge was private. Nice and clean too

Pickering lodges were brilliant. The lodge was clean an tidy with a lovely hot tub. The lodge was warm when we needed it but easy to control when not needed. The staff were great and checked the levels of the hot tub daily.

Cabins big and warm also with a on site grill house. This place also has pet welcome cabins if you have a dog as well.
